Waiting Game …

Have you ever had a project completely take over your life? Well… I have! If you have been wondering where I have been … well let me tell you. We have been working our little tushies off on our new home. It’s coming right along and I love love LOVE it, but it’s very time consuming and sucks ALL my creative energy these days We are on the home stretch now though and hope to be finished soon (end of May/ beginning of June). If you remember that is when we are supposed to be hosting our family portrait party … well, at this time I have to postpone the party due to moving, building, and just trying to get my life put back together. I hate to do this as it’s been TOO long since we have partied it up! BUT~ I have to make sure that my creative juices are back flowing freely for my photography before I attempt an entire day of portrait party fun! (And I simply can not figure out a day that would work as we will be finishing things up (yes, we are the contractor on our home so we are doing a lot of the work) and moving). Thanks for your patience and patronage! I love you all and hope to snap you soon!

IMPORTANT Announcements!

It’s a new year and a new Anniemations Portrait Party schedule! Hooray! This year I will be continuing with only portrait parties and no individual sessions. We are buried right in the middle of being the general contractors on our own home (and though it is honestly the funnest thing I have EVER done, it is VERY time consuming). Not to mention raising kids and caring for an adoring husband (and running DOODLIDOS). Oh my! We have FOUR amazing portrait parties planned for this year and we would hate to have you miss out on any of them.

A few things must be addressed prior to the schedule being announced. The past few parties have been SO~ booked (due to the limited availability) and we LOVE that! I can not tell you how much I love it. Portrait Parties are my favorite. BUT~ because of this we can not keep moving forward with no shows. I have lists of people waiting to get a spot and I feel terrible when someone doesn’t show up and I know that someone was wishing they could have filled that spot. So~ to facilitate things better PLEASE only register for a portrait party if you KNOW you can make it and want that spot. Payment will then be required within 72 hours of your registration to save your spot or it will be given to someone on the waiting list. Thanks for your understanding on this

Boudoir Portrait Party ~ this is an adult female only party ~ end of January/Early February (pictures will be ready in time for Valentines Day)

Portrait Party ~ families, individuals, kids, couples, etc ~ end of May/ Early June

Portrait Party ~ families, individuals, kids, couples, etc ~ end of September/ Early October

Charity Portrait Party ~ all welcome ^^, holiday cards available and a number of charities will benefit ~ end of November/ Early December

*We can’t wait to see you out at the parties and watch for VIP registration for the Boudoir Party in the next few days!

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood …

It has been over a year since we sold our home and we have been vagabonds ever since (getting ready to make move #4 … I can not wait until our house is done being built!) BUT~ we have friends that we will never forget from our old neighborhood and this lovely family is one of them. They are so kind, giving, and self-less. I wish them all the best on their new adventures and thank them for all their kindness used on our behalf.

I adore seeing people I love HAPPY! I love being happy why not!?!? It’s so good for you. This is one of my darling young women from my church youth group … she isn’t so young anymore! She found her Prince Charming and he is taking her to the castle to get married…ahhhh! I am so lucky to have a reason to be such a big part of these special girls day…. I couldn’t ask for more! I love ya, and am so happy you are happy!

I am a country girl. There is a very special place in my heart for animals, especially horses. When I photograph an animal there is something so pure about their eyes. The eyes are always a focus for me in photographs and animals have such pure eyes. They let you right into their soul. I had the amazing opportunity to meet with some wonderful women today to witness the tender moments they share with their animals. What a joy to watch … I can’t wait until we have our own. Thank you for letting me come and share in your love!

Just in case you were thinking I have been lounging on my couch eating bon bons these past few months enjoying the breeze in my hair and a tall drink of something sweet …. WRONG! Between my work on our new home (hoping to start the building process soon now that we completed the subdivision process) and running 4 girls here and there I have been shooting some family, friends, events and more … here’s a few of the things I have been up to.
