I just honestly loved every minute of this wedding. I only met Kim & Devin for the first time on the day of the wedding, but they (and their family) where so relaxed and made me feel immediately welcome.

The wedding was held at Devin’s parents home, which made it even more special. Thank you so, so much Kim & Devin.

A lot of people probably, but I didn’t! I was so thankful for my air conditioned room when I got the the B&B that night.

I loved shooting Joanita and MC’s wedding at The Olive Rock in Ceres. They asked their guests to dress in 1920′s fashion on the invites and was pleasantly surprised when absolutely everyone rocked up dressed to the T and looking like they just stepped out of a 1920′s photograph.

Nicki and Anton got married on the lawn under the trees at Webersburg. The reception was in a bedouin tent overlooking the water with a view of the setting sun colouring the mountains red.

It was such a pleasure to work with Andrew Alexander. You can have a look at the “coming soon” clip for Nicki and Antons wedding here. The wedding was coordinated by Patsy Muller. Her weddings are always “Wow!”.

This was the last of my 2011 weddings, and now I can finally start catching up with blogging my 2012 weddings. I just wanted to say again thank you so much Anton and Nicki for having me photograph your wedding. It really was a fairytale day!

My, time really flies these days. I met with them at the Biscuit Mill in Woodstock and we walked around the grounds and ventured out into the streets for more photos. I just love how alive the neighbourhood is. Kids where out in the streets playing soccer while their parents watched from the stoep. You just have to be watchful for the occasional taxi!

The wedding is going to be in Franschhoek, so Jennifer wanted something more urban for the pre-wedding photos.

You can’t really tell but parts of this shoot was done in the rain and I think Kerryn was really cold at one point. We drove around Pniel and the Simondium area and we almost got in trouble for trespassing, but luckily the farmer was very nice about it!

The shoot was also featured on The Pretty Blog even before I could blog it. Just goes to show how far behind I am with blogging! I am making up for it today though, with three posts, so hopefully I will be able to keep it up from now onwards.
