This year marked the event's 25th Anniversary. Winners of every county's Young Writers Contests, along with their proud parents, grandparents, and teachers packed the University of Charleston's Geary Auditorium.<br /><br />I was pleased and honored to, again, be asked to lead one of the Young Writers Workshops, conducting writing exercises for county winners in Grades 7 -9.
