As I received another batch of new items for Product Reviews, my son starts to check out the bath scale too. So, he hops in and look how much he weighs. It's fun to see how much he weighs for I'm also trigger on how heavy he is lately.

He enjoys the new bath scale, whenever he went to the bathroom, he will never miss to step on that bath scale to check how much he weighs.

I never thought my son would love and enjoy to eat this snack. I brought it back here during our last Vacay in the Philippines. It was sweet and yummy too, and this time they have flavors now. This one seems to be a UBE, which is basically the purple potato as what it called here.

I don't know when will be able to try these snacks again.

Who doesn't like this kind of game? It helps your brain's skills and gives you more time with your kid. That's what I did with my 3 years old son. If I feel that it's time for him to learn other things, this is what we played.

We haven't finished the first page yet, for this is really serious hunt. I could not find some stuff. Pretty camouflage objects with the different colors.

He loves it and I love it. We bought spent an hour for looking at the object, and gets our eyes tired from searching.

Dinner At Friendly’s

Was planning to visit Mother in law this day, however with the hubby’s moving the apartment took us a while to leave the place. It’s getting late and it's 15 minutes away from our apartment. Because of that, we decided to just call it a night, head home and will visit her on the next day.

As we didn’t plan that everything will be unorganized. I have not prepared any food at home. Hubby asked me where we would like to eat dinner. I have 20 seconds to think or we will end up heading home. We are away from the center of the city, so there were few restaurants nearby.

That’s where I choose Friendly’s, among the open restaurants were just Chinese buffet, where after you ate you’ll be gassy and have an excessive fart. And a pizza hut which I find well except that we have a homemade pizza the day before that so we need something different.

I wasn’t that hungry that night, thus, I would like to try what’s on the menu. So I order to share it with our 3 years old son. Didn’t even take as long for our son starts to be uncooperative because he thinks he can do everything for he is in a public place. Not for us, we have to make sure he will be disciplined whether we are at home or at a restaurant.

We all headed our way back home stuffed and ready for the next day.

Flying Kite during not windy Sunday

I was home sick again that Sunday so instead of moving around and clean the place. I end up sitting on my computer, browsing the FB pages and links. So, basically nothing and I felt even lonelier because of the pictures I’ve seen online. I don’t understand what I am feeling, so when my husband told me if I need to do something fun outside. The first thing that comes in my mind is to fly the kite my SIL’s gave for Chaos.

It wasn’t that windy as I thought it was, however when you are on the hill it sometimes looks like it is. We still tried to fly the kite; however it drops because the wind subsided too. So we don’t the settle wind that would make your kite way up in the sky.

After a while, hubby came to us and joined. It’s a little bit fun once in a while when the wind blows heavy and your kite is about 15 feet high. And goes down as the winds drop, and then we have to wait until it blows a strong one again.

A walked to the Post Office

Today is another warm day to walk to the Post Office. Since, we can walk in the shorter way and safety way. I have decided to go to the post office together with my 3 years old son to get our mail, before it closed. I am glad that we have a huge school field behind our property where my son can run around while we are heading to the said establishment. It’s safer than walking by the road.

We do this every Monday and Thursday. We go for a quick walk, as well as enjoy a nice warm day. It is another way to have an exercise for it takes at least 10 minutes to go back and forth to our house. One major predicament is when we get our mail and I end up getting those heavy and bigger boxes. I have to make sure I carried them safe and of course hold my son while walking down the street until, we cross the road back to the school.

It happened twice now and it’s pretty annoying. I don’t mind if it was just me, however walking to 3 years old isn’t that fun especially when you are holding too many things. However, it is being done; the only thing that I have right now is the memories.

A walk with Chaos

It was one Monday afternoon after lunch when I told my son, that we are going to a walk towards the post office. I never realized how far the place is until we did walk for 20 minutes just to get there. We usually drove in the car to get our mail, and since the weather was so nice out, I don’t want to take the chance of not going somewhere to enjoy it.

Both are full as we just finished our lunch together. So ready for a walk, I even asked my little one if he needs to go potty first. When kid’s starts saying ‘No’, we might as well listen to our instinct and still bring them to the potty chair.

We started to walk without thinking of anything but the wonderful sun that shines upon our skin. My son loves the walked; he did brought his scoobydoo card with him as well. We get to the post office safe and didn’t realize they close from 12:00-1:00pm. I have a package to pick-up, until about 10 minutes left, my son suddenly urge to go to pee. There is no closer restaurant or a store that we can get in to use the restroom. The bank beside the post office couldn’t let us use theirs for it is inside their premises. It is against the company’s rules. Poor son, hold it as much as he can. I wanted to let him peed at the back of the building, however I know there will be cctv somewhere else. I felt so bad for my son. Diverted his attention and makes sure I consistently talked with him about the things he loves. After another 20 minutes of walking back home. I let him peed at the back of our house for I know holding your urine that long is unbearable.

What an experience. I just wish that I’ll bring some plastic with me next time, so when things happen I won’t panic and felt so bad.

I feel very bad for this page. It seems that it's been neglected for it hasn't been updated since the 8th. So here I am giving out some updates, which I don't know exactly what. This is supposed to be for my son and my nieces and nephews. Apparently, since the time we get back from a 3 months vacation I have hardly done any fun with my son. It's always be a routinely things inside the house.

Nope! We haven't went outside for a walk. I was planning for the couple of days, however the weather is against my plans. So, instead it pours all the time. Don't want to walk on those muddy, cold weather outside. The fun is just not right.

I might update a little bit about our 3 months trips. I am sure I just need to look up to the photos I've taken. We will see.

Got the opportunity to finally be able to review the unreal candy bar. And I am loving it. I was given by the company 5 coupons for free in order to get the products from the stores who carries the said merchandise. Unfortunately, we only have 2 stores who carry them and luckily one of the stores do accept the manufacturer’s coupon.

After I got the whole products, I went ahead and tried the delicious looks and taste of the product bar. I do find it very chewy, very flavor and you can actually taste the flavor each bar represents. I do find the packaging is something unique from the rest.

It is so fortunate for me to get the opportunity to be able to be accepted to work with Mailpix.com for a photo products review. It is a perfect timing that I went to my three months vacation in the Philippines and I have plenty of memorable events to be kept in hard copy. Mailpix has their own digital photo printing which has high resolution. I am interested in my photo products.

I got my photo brag book in the mail, and as I examined those treasured pictures. I am being happy with the quality and resolution of each picture. They have got the 5x7 right size right. I love how the papers are thick enough to make sure the pictures will hold it. Nevertheless, I have some minor problems. I never thought that instead of shrinking the pictures into 5x7 instead cut down from the whole pictures and I have some photos being cut-out.

My son's joy with his cousin

After 2 years of not meeting his cousin, the time has finally come to meet them face to face. The first couple of days, it was very hard for him to adjust. There were only two of his cousins on his father's side that he knew and now he will be meeting more than 10 cousins on my side. The adjustment is torturing for everyone is dying to hang out with him.

It took days for my son to adjust the huge clan he had in the Philippines. So, in order for him to remember them all. I took some memorable pictures with them during our vacation in Gensan.

This is the term of a public market in Comval Province, Philippines. They called it "Tabo" because vendors of different kinds of foods sell their goods during Thursday of the week. It starts very early and it ends up to 7:00pm on the same day. I experienced going to a "Tabo" with my mother one Thursday morning, after we went to the banks. While passing by the place where vendors are located, I have decided to tell my mother of my cravings of the small squid.

After four and a half years I am happy to be able to experience the life I used to have again. It's bizarre for we don't usually appreciate what we had until we realize it one day. I never like to go to a public market especially in the seafoods area, we all know that we will end up being stinky since seafoods esp. Fish do have a very strong smell.

Things do change when we grow up. We do get matured and understands that this is our life and we should embrace what we have. We missed the things we had before, that is why we long for it and want to do it again.

Ipad and Ipod with cousin

This night was the first week we stayed at my sister in Laguna, Philippines. It was one of those ordinary nights that we have nothing else to do, but random browsing and watching shows on television. My son loves his Kuya Troy, that's why he sits beside him most of the time when he isn't in school in the morning and at night.

They look busy with playing the iPad and iPod touch. So a perfect moment for me to take a picture in order to have remembrance of our visit in the Philippines.

January 8: Tuesday..today we finally went to New Bataan where the calamity happened. On our way to the spot, we've seen debris from the typhoon. Trees being uprooted from the ground, banana plantation that has been destroyed, roads full of debris from the flash flood and the houses being wiped out because of the heavy wind and rain. Unbelievable to see how Mother Nature can destroy something a human being built for weeks and even months.

When we reached the place where the famous Bamboo Resort, it was totally washed out. It was now gone and is replaced by those gigantic stones which comes from the upper area. The River that was supposed to be on the other side is now flowing in the middle of the place.

The road was cut off and been replaced by more rocks. The other amazing thing happened was that the Catholic Church hasn't been washed away and only been destroyed some part of the building.

It is sad to hear from those kids who had experienced the tragedy and lucky enough to survive the said flash flood and the tornado.

Before we left...we spare some of the money that I have collected from the generous people elsewhere. For that small amount it can help them with goods or even things they needed at home.

January 7- Monday.. Still another rainy day. Don't know when will we have a shiny day. Chaos chicken pox is going away. Got a dried stuff and he is sleeping well at night. Planned to see the destroyed tourist spot in New Bataan, but it wasn't a success. Being lazy at home lately.

Riding on a Train

Riding in a Train with my son and my older nephew Troy. This happened on the 3^rd day spending time with my sister together with her family in Manila. We happen to visit our cousin who worked in this mall, since it was her work hours we waited her strolling and this time, I have decided to take my son and nephew for a ride on this train.

This is really intended for kids to be amuse while you are in the mall. Very slow ride and only takes at least 5 minutes back and forth. I guess my son loves the ride and he was very cooperative when the crew says not to put their hands and head outside the seat.

When we get into our seat, he immediately sits down and waited. Very obedient and behave one too.
