Just a quick post to tell you about a new Facebook page I put up yesterday. I call it the traffic generation club. The concept is that we build a community of blog or site owners. Who will each visit each others sites and leave a comment if possible.

This works in two ways.

1. You get backlinks to your site from a number of different places.

2. It will make yor site look busy, and encourage more interaction with your readers.

This going to be big. It is already growing rapidly. We now have over a thousand members and counting. So if you like the idea and after all what have you to lose? It is FREE after all. Just click or copy this link into your browser. http://bit.ly/cuAgdH

What I should also mention is that we will be discussing various traffic methods. So there will be an incredible amount of valuable information on there. This could help you so much, especially if you blog or site is not really established yet.

We all know that traffic is the life blood of every website. Without it your site just dies. Learning how to generate traffic should be high on your agenda. Why not pop over and leave your link? http://bit.ly/cuAgdH

There it is, right by the 50 inch plasma. The one place where I can never avoid looking at it. Its sits there on its stand and taunts me. It is my new guitar. I have boasted for years now about how one day I want to turn my poetry into songs by learning to play the guitar. Although my birthday is not until October, and a guitar being a difficult object to hide. This forced Angie my partner to introduce me to my new musical friend a few days ago.

What I had not told her, was just how bad at learning any musical instrument I had been in the past. I was the kid at school that got the triangle to play. We all know what getting the triangle mean’t. If you held it in your hands for a few minutes it mean’t that you were not seen to be fit to stand near another instrument, let alone play it.

The triangle was not really a musical instruement in my eyes. It could not be heard from the audience, and it only made the same sound every time. I remember on one particular class concert the humilation of having to play the triangle with a pencil. This was because the steel rod that you attack the triangle with, had mysteriously disappeared, only to reappear a few days later. This of course made any sound that I did manage to conjour up completely inaudible to anyone more than a breathe away. It was a conspiracy of the highest order.

So my new guitar sits and brings back memories of past humilation. I imagine the sounds it can make under the skilled touch of those who know how to do such things. I imagine people watching with admiration as the next note softly rises and falls. With this vision firmly in place. I picked up the instrument and strummed what I thought would be my first chord. In the distance a magpie answered.

So I know now that it will be a long road to travel. I have no immediate escape route either, because in her wisdom she has supplied me with every known teaching aid there is. Guitar for dummies ( a name I have never liked) Two dvds on beginer lessons. A book called instant guitar. (its a lie). If only there was a book called how to mimic a magpie. Surely with all this at my disposal, well only a fool could fail.

So another challenge in my life. It all rock n roll to me.

I wonder if its easy to play a violin.

Andy Beveridge.

There are many reasons why an article may not be accepted for publication.

Often it can be the simplest of errors. You would be suprised at the number of people who having taken the time to plan and then write out their work, then go and make the mistake of not reading through it. You must check for spelling mistakes. The odd mistake with your spelling does not render your article useless, but several will. Lots of mistakes gives the appearance of someone who does not care. If your article is grammatically correct and spell checked, you will have far more chance of the reader making it to the end.

Do not forget the importance of the resource box at the end of your article. Make sure that the link back to your site or offer works correctly. If a reader has taken the trouble to read the whole article, then you do not want to waste that chance of them finding out more about your offer or site by an incorrect link.

Always read the article directory rules and submission guidlines. Many of the better directories will not allow you more than one link and some do not want affiliate links. Save yourself time, by reading the rules before you submitt work.

Always make sure that the article is easy on the eye. Plenty of white space between paragraphs makes a huge difference. Our attention spans are not that good. Give your reader small snippets to read.

Always put yourself in the readers mind. You need to keep them interested the whole way through. If not, they do not get to see the information in your resource box.

How long should an article be? The answer to this varies. If you are writing to drive traffic to an affiliate link, then I think the article should be short and to the point. These people are searching for information. Your article is just a funnel leading to your resource box.

If you are branding yourself as an expert in your field, and are trying to drive long term traffic to your authority site. Then I think its different. There is much more chance of someone using your article on their own blog, if it is longer. They will be looking for good content for their site, and a longer article that goes a little deeper into the subject matter, will always be chosen first.

So, two completely different ways to write an article. Both work, its really just about what your plans are.

Well the first reason would be to get loads of other marketers to sell your product. You may have list of subscribers of your own, but once you have emailed them an offer, and done the usual follow ups. Then that is the potential success of that particular launch over. Imagine having though not one list but access to hundreds or even thousands of lists. That is what launching your own affiliate program can do for you.

The important part is that you have to make the offer to your potential affiliates enticing enough to make them choose your product to promote. Most product owners give out at least fifty per cent of the value as commission. I would say that is the bear minimum.
You will also have to supply tools that will help your affiliates launch their own campaigns. The most successful affiliate programs offer this.
These are the types of tools that you should consider offering.

1.A series of auto responder email messages.
2.A squeeze page or landing page.
3.Some sales copy.
4.Graphics.
5.Even some bonuses if your product is high end.
6.Support.
All of the above will help your affiliates make more sales and you in turn more profit.
Also when you make life easier for your affiliates, they tend to come back and want to promote more of your products.
In fact it is a very good idea to build a separate list, just made out of affiliates. This way when you have a product launch you can give them an early bird warning, and they are ready when you are.

I have seen many people put a decent product together and just put it on one of the big market place sites in hope that others will promote it for them. Sometimes that works to a certain degree, but the most successful launches are always those that choose to supply their affiliates with all or some of the above tools.

You have to remember that affiliate marketing often attracts a lot of newbies into the arena. Simply because they do not have to create their own product. All the more reason that you make sure that you supply plenty of support. Your affiliates are your customers as well.

If you treat your affiliate program in this way, there is no reason for it not to be hugely successful. Just think of hundreds of other people promoting your products. Then waiting for your next launch so they can be one of the first in.
The more affiliates that join your program, the more chance you have of landing one of the big fish. By that I mean a big name in marketing who has a massive list of potential customers. That could change your life.

Spam with chips and Spam with eggs. Even spam with spam. Is that how the old Monty python sketch went? If only they had realised just what the word spam would come to mean to us today. They could have created an entirely different sketch.

I have never quite got what the spammers get out of leaving such spammy comments. I mean its not like they are ever going to get published. Ok, most are set up with bots, but there are a fair few that are just bad english written by outsourced workers.

I have one particular one that keeps cropping up lately. You might be getting it as well. It goes like this. Why do you keep deleting my post? You leave other posts that are not as good. At least I have something important to say. I will try again. Then a link is left in another sentence.
How was that ever going to get left on anyones blog? Start off by insulting the webmaster. Thats the way to go.
Just occasionally I will leave an obvious spam comment alone and publish it. It has to appeal to my ever growing ego. Something like, you are such a good writer, it astounds me how you find such information out.

So spammers you have to appeal to my human side. I am not a bot and nor should you be.

So whats the funniest spam comment that you have had? Lets turn an negative situation into a positive one and have a laugh.

Why would you want to sell other peoples products? Why become an Affiliate in the first place? Let me answer those questions.
Being an affiliate means that you do not have to create your own products. You do not have to prepare your own product launches. You do not have to write your own sales page. You do not have to deal directly with your customers.

The vendor has to deal with all these skilled and time consuming things. Leaving you to do the marketing. These are all positive points, but lets look quickly at the negatives.

You will be in serious competition for the most popular products. You only receive a commission and not the full product price. In saying that, most product owners pay very good commissions, up to seventy five per cent in some cases. You will still have to learn some skills. For example, you will need to recognise what type of sales page converts best. No point in sending traffic to a landing page that just does not convert very well.
You will need to build relationships with your own lists. People will generally only buy through you if they trust you. You have to be able to see the value in a product yourself.

All in all though, it is much easier to be an Affiliate than it is to create your own product. It is the reason why so many people starting out in Internet marketing begin this way.
There are many different ways to operate as an affiliate. Some affiliates have built their own lists in different niches through time. They would simply send an email to their list and point them in the direction of the product. Others would have to drive traffic using a different method. Quite often through article marketing. The article would have a link back to the product sales page, or even the affiliates website.
Another way would be to put adverts on high traffic sites. Pay per click advertising is another popular method. Be warned though, that method can cost you money if you are not skilled at it.

I think being an affiliate has huge advantages over creating your own products. There are literally tens of thousands of ready made products just waiting for you to promote, and you can start as quickly as today.
Every conceivable niche will be covered, and your bound to find products that interest you. Some people go on to make fortunes by being an affiliate, and I do think that it one of the easier ways to start seeing some real cash from your online marketing.

We had friends from the UK come and visit us this weekend. Four days of over indulgence and a serious hole in the red wine stock of southern France was formed. I never work sundays and so I only lost three days really, but it seems more. All the little jobs mount up till they look like mountain of work.
Still you have to take advantage of these moments when they come. You never know whats around the corner. I remember when I ran a company back in the UK a few years ago. Eighteen hour days and staff problems, couple that with a cash flow in free fall, and it became a receipe for ill health. Thing is you don’t know when your going to hit the breaking point. That thin line that must never be crossed. One minute its just another day, then the next your body just gives up. A wall of stress that comes crashing down on you. Far too heavy to be moved.
How life has improved now. Now I wake up to sunshine and mountains. Stress for me now, is if they run out of my favourite Merlot.
So I owe a lot to the world of Internet marketing, and I owe a lot more to my first mentor Alex jeffreys. So thankyou Alex.

Never be afraid to invest in yourself. Get hold of someone you trust and pay them what they want. So you can learn what you need to learn. So you can have a life of freedom. The life we all deserve.

If you make it to the south of France look me up. You can give me a hand to make another hole in the local wine stock.

Facebook, Myspace and Twitter are the leading social media sites. I never really got the whole Facebook and Myspace thing until about a year ago. Obviously I understood what the sites were designed for. I just didn’t see the marketing potential.

With Facebook growing so rapidly it has become the perfect platform to be able to contact people in your chosen niche. There are around 500 million users and growing daily. With the ability to make seperate pages it has become a marketers dream. I become so inspired once I recognised the power within the Facebook set up, that I wrote a report on how to make money from it.

You can download it here for free www.cashinonsocialmedia.com

Myspace I think has become more of a platform for teenagers. Of course if your niche is for young people then there must be real potential there. You may have different opinion and I would love to hear it.

Twitter the king of the micro blogging sites. In fact where have all the other micro blogging sites gone? A couple of years ago there were several. I like Twitter. I like the having the ability to send short to the point messages to a targeted audience. I have over 4000 followers on Twitter now, and this grows daily. The key is not to constantly send affiliate links, you need to interact on a social level as well. Once you start linking all these sites up, it becomes incredibly powerful.

So how do you use Social media sites? Is it a big part of your marketing campaign? Have you always recognised the potential? How do you see the future of these sites developing? Will Facebook become the new Google?

I would love to hear your views.

Today is going to be another very hot day. I never realised just how intense the heat can be here in the foothills of the Pyreneese. You can tell that I am from the uk, because I am moaning about the weather again.

It does make me disciplined though. All my main work has to be done in the morning. It gives structure to my day. I am sure I could have gained from this attitude when I was back in the UK. I digress, what I want to chat about today is choosing your niche.

I had a small number of students that I coached for free last year. I wanted to hone my skills as a teacher to be honest. Its one thing having some experience or knowledge and another being able to get that across to someone else.

With the exception of one, all my students jumped on the how to make money on the Internet niche, to blog about. This is quite remarkable. Not one had any experience in making money online, and all of them had hobbies and interests that they could talk about all day long.

Why would you choose to jump into a niche that you have no previous knowledge of? I think because many believe that is where all the lucrative markets are. Also all the gurus try to point them in that direction.( See Stormbringer Report)

It makes sense to blog about what you know and what interests you. You come across more sincere this way and its easier for you to talk about it. There are thousands of niches out there that are not involved in the how to make money online topic. Choose something that means something to you. Start blogging about what you enjoy.

Once you gain experience in that field, you have the ability to then tell people how you set that up. How can anyone inform you on how to do something if they have never done it themselves?

Many people blindly follow the wrong route to achieve success online, simply because they have been misguided from the start. This is not the road to success. Follow what interests you. Life is meant to be fun, enjoy your time online.

In this blog I mostly chat about the make money niche, but in quite a broad sense. This however is not where most of my business comes from. I do build a list from here. If you download The Stormbringer Report, you will be on my list, but I do not constantly send out emails bombarding everyone with offers just for the sake of it. On this blog I tell it as I see it. For me to try and be anything else would be insincere to my own beliefs. I have built up some knowledge and I try to pass it on.

The bulk of my success comes from seperate niches altogether. I am a Diabetic. Got diagnosed about four years ago. There is not much that I don’t know about this illness. I can chat freely about this topic all day long. I can impart knowledge to people knowing it to be 100% correct.

I have been a life coach and counsellor in the past, and so another niche that I am successful in, is Mindset and Self-improvement. I think that comes across in the stormbringer report.

Now I could teach you how to set up a business in most subjects, because I have had some experience in doing so. How false would it have sounded if I had done that from the start?

There is of course a huge amount of income to be made in the how to make money online niche, but stay away from it until you have some experience to share with others. Blog about what you enjoy and the road to success will seem so much easier.

Chat soon.

You will hear time and time again that the money is in the list. The real truth is the money is in how you treat your list, and that relationship starts from day one. It is very easy in the early days of your list building campaign to get carried away with numbers. It is exciting to look at your inbox each morning and see a few more subscribers, but the important factor is how you look after those new sign ups.

Remember that this ever growing list of subscribers, is after all just a bunch of people like you and me. You have to build trust before you start selling. You have opened the door to this relationship by giving something of value away, but now you must continue this courtship. Talk to your list, offer advice and ask questions. Find out what they want. Listen to them.

So we now know that trying to sell to a list too early will have negative results, but ignoring your list will have the same effect. If you leave your subscribers alone for too long, they will forget who you are. Then the free gift that you gave away in the first instance will be for nothing. Its easy to get caught up in the whole list building mentality and forget about the most important part of the whole procedure. That is continuity with your list.

List building is not an exact science. Different niches require different methods. What will be the same is that it requires you to build a relationship up first, before you market back to your subscribers.

Neil Stafford and Neil Travers have been selling online
since 1998 and have email lists in dozens of niche markets
that continue to pump out profits month after month.

They have a unique, easy to follow, step-by-step formula
for building an email list and then developing a
relationship with those people on the list….so much so
they have people emailing THEM asking when they will be
releasing their next product!

Imagine having people lining up to pay YOU money…

They have agreed to reveal to you their ‘List Building Mastery & Profit Formula’ for a limited time only.

When you first think about product creation it appears to be a daunting task, but it is often much simpler than people first think. The first thing to do is to think about people’s desires and needs. A successful product will be based on these facts. Look for a popular niche such as health and fitness or how to make money. Then begin to break down into that niche. You are looking for sub categories.

Start with the areas that interest you the most. If you already involved in a hobby then you will find that much more interesting to work with. Think about the knowledge you already have. How could you help others with it?

Money will come to you if you work in an area where people are looking for answers and you enjoy your time in that particular area.

I have experienced and seen failure when a potential profitable market has been discovered, only to find that I have no interest in the subject matter and come across as insincere and of course uninteresting. What else could you expect?

That does not mean you have to be an out and out expert in a field but that would really help, but you do have to find your research interesting and rewarding.

One of the most important aspect of product creation that I can pass onto you is without doubt this. The market must dictate the product, not the other way round. For example, this was taught to me several years ago. You think of a brilliant idea that no one else has yet created. You work hard creating the product and eventually offer it to the market. Only to find that no one buys it.

What have you done wrong? Well for starters, no one else had created the product perhaps because there was no actual market for it. You have made a fundamental mistake. You have made a product without researching weather people are looking for it already. Don’t even think about product creation before researching the market first. If people are actively looking for solutions in that area, then you have the green light for go.

Even then you must breakdown into the niche even further.

You must find the market within the market as it were. If the market is too general, covers too wide a spectrum, you will probably fail.

Research.

Market research is the area that I love most. What are people looking for in your chosen niche?

What is the product that can deliver the answer to their problem? How far down do you have to drill to find a targeted market of potential buyers?

Then there will be keyword research I will go into that in more depth later.

What though, if you are starting completely from scratch? How do you de-fine what is value in a product? My first suggestion would be to look at what you have bought yourself in the past. What do you perceive as value? On your hard drive right now you will probably have many products. Some you may use regularly, and others just sit there gathering dust. The ones that you use regularly, have at least some value to you. Look at these products, which ones would you pay for again? This tells you how you perceive value. The standard of the products in this range are the ones that you want to create as well. Your name will go on the product, so be proud of it.

At some time in our lives we have all been buyers and sellers. When we are a buyer we look at the world differently than the seller and of course vice versa. When we create a product, we have to see it through the buyers eyes. It should always be the buyers that create a product. All you are really looking for is to answer the buyers needs.

All around you in your everyday world is the information that you need. Think of all the magazines that stacked up on shelves. Each one about a different topic, and each one full of questions and answers on that particular niche. If a publisher takes the time and spends the money to have a magazine published, then you can bet with safety that there is a market there. You would of course still have to break down into market. From fashion to farming it’s all out there.

Forums are another fantastic mine of information. Let’s say you have discovered a magazine on chicken keeping. You think that this may be a niche that you would be interested in. You still have to break into that niche further to find a sub niche. So type into Google keeping chickens forums. A list of forums should appear and you can check out the most popular ones. You will be looking for a forums that have regular contributions. If the last post was several months ago then forget it. Once you have found an active forum, start looking at the posts. What are people looking for? What are the main questions being asked? Just by doing this alone, you can find out what people’s problems are in this niche. You need to be organised. So record all the information you find. It will be invaluable to you at a later date.

When I first started creating products, I was worried that I couldn’t come up with new ideas. That was always the wrong way to think. Very few products that come onto the market are brand new. The majority of them are just rehashed older information. Repackaged and sometimes not even rewritten. There is nothing wrong in adding value to older information by putting your take on it.

If you bought several books on the history of Archery, would they all have completely different information? Of course not. They would all be presented in a different way, but they all would contain the same information. This will never stop people from buying more products in the same field.

Once you have found your niche. Sit down and brainstorm. Have a blank piece of paper in front of you, but don’t stare at it. That is one of the easiest ways to form a block in your mind.

Write down your chosen niche, and then write down as many benefits as you can think of that involve your subject. Then write down all the problems that people face in that particular niche.

Once that is done you have the backbone of a product.

Let’s say you have identified a particular problem that crops up several times. Now how these questions are being answered. Could you research this further? Find out more about the subject through magazines or Internet searches? You don’t have to come up with anything new here, many people who first start out in product creation believe they have to reinvent the wheel. This is just not true. People are constantly searching for answers that are already out there. All you have to do is packaged them together and feed them to the hungry fish. We live in a world where information is readily available at our fingertips. You would think that this would make it harder to sell information to the public, but it doesn’t work like that at all.

We maybe surrounded by information, but people want it instantly. I think we have got used to so many neon signs flashing at us, that we have got lazy. Nearly everyone wants knowledge delivered to them when they ask for it. We live in a very fast world and time is money.

Search for related broad terms, you will be amazed at how many markets can just open up like this. This will help you break down into the market even further, and this is very important to you. If you enter a market that is too broad you will find that you have too much competition and advertising costs will destroy you before you even start.

By breaking down into a sub niche you can still tap into a hungry market, but there will be less competition. I hope that makes sense because it is a very important point. For instance, let’s take the topic golf. Competition for the keywords would be astronomical to say the least. However how to improve your driving would still be popular niche and would have considerably less competition, thus making it cheaper for you to participate in. Do you get it? Burrow down into those niches and then burrow down some more. I hope that this very short report helps clear the air a little on what is sometimes viewed as minefield for newbies.

Today is the launch of my new Article writing service. I have no desire to make this a big part of my life. Internet marketing is and always will be how I make my living. That said I do like researching and writing articles and blog content.

I have plenty of spare time these days, so why not earn a few dollars more. I know what a problem creating good unique content can be for some. I found out when I first started to outsource my work, that it was difficult to find a person who has the correct understanding of the English language for the price that I was prepared to pay.

I quickly went back to writing my own material, and I tend to outsource stuff like graphics and backlinking these days. I only intend to take on so much work a week. Still got to have time to enjoy the Catalan sunshine. If you are interested in trying out my services then the details are all on the other page.

Today feels like chaos to me. Simply because I forgot to write a to do list last night. Now I have no structure to my day. Well thats what it feels like. I have a whole batch of jobs swirling round inside my head and no way of putting order to any of them.

I do know that I need to sort out the optin box to the right of this post. Its terrible, one letter missing and no graphics of the free report.

I also need to do a broadcast to my lists. I am not one of those marketers who blast my list with messages every four hours. I hate that, and I just assume that people on my lists might dislike it just as much. It is important to keep in touch though and I have quite a bit of valuable information to share.

I need to start working on my Life in Ceret site. I thought seeing as I now live here, I may as well tell everyone else what its really like.

I also want to start another project based around the real laws of attraction. I will be looking for guest writers on that one if your interested.

I want to put a video together to promote the Stormbringer Report. I have some articles to write for someone. I have an ebook about product creation to finish. Ouch! my head hurts.

See what I mean? How important it is to be organised? Even though I know all these tasks need to be completed, I find I have lost some time today going through each one.

I like to wake up in the morning ( always a good start) and look at my list of jobs for the day. All neatly written out the night before and in order of importance. A great start to the day normally means a productive day. It takes me about 20 mins in the evening to do, but about an hour in the morning. The main reason though is not so much the time it takes to write out a to do list, but the difference in your mindset.

If you wake in the morning to a list of tasks laid out in front of you, then the difference in mindset is incredible. You feel more positive for the whole day. That for me is reason enough to be organised.

You could have an expensive car in the driveway of your Mansion. You may have a bulging bank account. Perhaps you holiday in the most exotic of locations.

That all sounds great, but is it success? Its not success in my eyes if you have to work 20hrs a day to achieve it. Its not success if you have to spend so much time away from your family. Its not success if climbing the co-operate ladder leads to a heart attack through stress.

I measure success through freedom. By freedom, I mean the choice to live your life how you choose. When I get up in the morning, the first thing I do is have a coffee and check my emails. My to do list will be waiting for me on the desk, but first I contemplate the day ahead. I look out at the mountains and feel the warm med sun already breaking through the branches of the tall plane trees that guard the streets of this little town called Ceret.

I visualise my future and confirm in my sub-conscious that all my paths lead to abundance. I feel free. Is this success?

Well for some it won’t be. I am not rich in a monentary way, although my online business grows every week. I do have the freedom of choice though. I no longer have to get up and go to work in the pouring rain. I no longer have to answer to anyone but myself. I have to work of course, but sitting with my laptop sure beats going to a JOB.

This is how I measure success. The freedom to choose the way you live. Is it perfect? No, not always, but perfection is an illusion. It is the rainbow that can be admired from a distance, but there it always remains.

Ask yourself this question. Do you live the life that you choose?

Good morning from a very sunny south of France. The storm that kept us indoors yesterday has finally lost its battle, and the sun rules again. When you get a storm around here, you get a storm. It kind of funnels up through the valley and the mountains trap it. This seems to make it very angry. Still it keeps me stuck to my laptop and I get more work done.

This post is born from what a none Internet marketing friend said to me a few days ago. He asked me how many ways are there then to make money on the Internet. I replied that there are probably hundreds of ways to make cash online.

I could see that he didn’t really believe me. So I boasted further that I could come with at least 10 good ideas that could geniunely be used to make money online. He said by Monday morning I expect a post about it on your blog. So here it is 15 ways to make money online.

1. Blogging. If you blog about your interests its easy to build traffic to your site. You can then put a small ad selling related products through Amazon, ebay etc.

2. Create your own product. Not as hard as some people think, in fact I am going to release a product of my own soon dealing with this. A simple ebook put together about a subject your knowledgeable about, can easily be sold to others who are looking for that kind of information.

3. Affiliate. If you have your own blog why not sell other peoples products through sites like Clickbank. Very easy to set up and Clickbank do all the work.

4. Hosting. You can buy a reseller hosting package of sites like Hostgator and advertise hosting to others.

5. Graphics. There will always be a market for this. If you have the ability to design, then thats a very powerful skill you have. Headers, websites, and ebook covers are just a few of the thing that people are looking for.

6. Copywriting. If you can write good copy then you will find work today. Sales letters and content are the most sought after.

7. Video creation. If your happy behind a camera, then offer your services to others. Advertise that you make short videos about their products.

8. Video Promotion. You can promote other peoples videos for them by offering to upload them to all the main video sites.

9. Blog commenting. This is a service where you comment on other related blogs for someone else. Leaving there link behind.

10. Survey sites. Companies are always collecting information and a popular way to do this is through survey sites. You will never make a fortune but it easy money. Avoid those that ask you for cash to register.

11. Voiceovers. Do you have a clear well spoken voice? then you can put this to good use by offering to do voiceovers for videos.

12. SEO. There is a lot of bloggers and site owners out there who need their sites tweaked for the search engines.

13. Give away free products. That sounds easy doesn’t it? Who does not want free stuff? Well there are companies out there that will pay you to give away free stuff.

14. Blog review site. Put a blog together that reviews products. Have an affiliate link on your site to that product. I have a unique twist to that idea, that can make you a lot of money. You will need to contact me for more info.

15. PLR. In this one you look for products that have Private label rights. You will need to change the images and do a little rewriting, then add your name to it. Now you have your own product.

To be honest I have not even touched the tip of the iceberg here. There are so many ways to make money online. If any of the above interest you, and you would like more information, jus leave a comment and I will get back to you.

To your success.

Thats a question that gets more and more difficult to answer these days. Basically because I’m involved in so many different projects. I suppose I label myself predominately as a writer, but that really is only a small part of my day.

If you are a fellow Internet marketer, what do you say when someone asks you the question. What is it you do? The answer Internet marketing just doesn’t cut it really. Most people, and I include family in this, tend to look at you a bit blank.

Then you have to explain, and that gets quite difficult. For this morning as an example.

Got up 07.30 to look out at a rather disapointing sky here in the south of France. Down to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee and one for the other half ( Don’t want to start the day of in trouble, plenty of time for that later) Then its up to the top floor to my office which is basically wherever I have abandoned my laptop. Does that sound familiar?

Quick check through the emails and then straight into article writing. I then check through the work that has arrived from my outsource staff. Answer any queries they have and set some more tasks. This of course varies from week to week.

Somewhere a breakfast gets fitted into my morning, the thoughtful coffee made for my other half already paying dividends. Then I do some blog commenting. I do outsource that job, but I like to do a bit myself. I’m quite a sociable chap really.

Then its onto an ad campaign I’m setting up. This involves a bit of copy and some keyword research. Then straight onto my latest project creation, This includes a full blown course and a report on mindset.

Then there is forwarding my ideas for some graphics for my next ebook, and fixing the broken tripod because I want to shoot some marketing video.

So it get difficult to say what you actually do. Love hear your answers.

The easy bit is explain my afternoons. I have mountains to explore.

Well the last few weeks have carried on being frustrating. The Internet connection stopped working and I ended up having to get a new company in. Here in France that takes time. Its all good now though.

Taking a positive from the whole thing, and you know I like to do that. It did give me a chance to catch up with those tasks that I never seem to get round to. The Stormbringer Report was one of those. Its been on the backburner for ages now. As it deals with a kind of frustration, it seems appropiate to release it now.

So what can the Stormbringer do for you? Well it deals with the information overload that we all face the moment we enter the arena that is called Internet marketing. The gurus line up to take your cash, every offer seem like the one you must have to achieve the success that you dream about.

If you read the Stormbringer before you enter the arena, then you will be armed to the teeth. It will save you money.

I don’t think the gurus will like it, but its not for them. So like a storm, I hope it clears the air for you and gives you a clear vision ahead.

So you can download it for free by entering your email in the box provided on right sidebar. I would be really greatful if you could pass the message on. You would be helping someone else and helping me.

As always, feedback appreciated.

To your success.

Well at last we made it to France. It did seem like at one point we wouldn’t. Icelandic volanoes, onboard computor problems on the plane and then a hire car breaking down in the car park at Perpignan.

It did feel like the UK would not let go of me. Actually as write this its raining really hard. So I think Iv’e bought some of England with me anyway.

Yes when we arrived in Ceret late friday evening I did feel stressed. Even when you have a really positive outlook and I do, you can still feel pressure. It had been building from the week before. Staying a whole week near Stanstead airport in B&B was not ideal. In saying that, if you ever have to stop near Stanstead I highly reccomend http://www.harwoodguesthouse.com/ Harwood Guest house was the best B&B we have ever stayed in.

I felt through all the negative points in that journey that there was still more positives to be found. I had a goal and nothing was ever going to stop me from achieving it. Thats the thing, your vision, your dream, as long as that remains intact. As long as you keep programing it into your sub-concious mind. Other forces will come into play and your goals will become a reality.

Yes of course life can be a bumpy journey at times, that is a natural state. When that happens, re-focus and move on. Thats the important bit, keep moving forward. Don’t give yourself time to feel sorry for yourself, just concentrate on the next positive and it will eventually appear.

So the first part of my online journey has been completed. Through all the information overload that we deal with on a daily basis. I wanted to create a business model that would give me a fulltime income, and with it the ability to work from my laptop anywhere in the world. (Internet connetion required)

I have a long way to go to achieve my dreams and visions, but I’m on my way. I have no boss now and I live in the south of France.

For those of you that read this blog, I thankyou for being part of my journey.

Well here I am stuck in a B&B in a place called Great Dunstow. I hadn’t heard of it before either. It about as near as I could stay to Stanstead airport.

I should be in France by now, starting my new life. So thankyou Icelandic volcano for spreading your ash all over British air space.

The thing is, I can’t change it. So I could just sit here and feel how bad the situation is. It would be easy to feel sorry for myself, after all, what have I ever done to offend an Icelandic volcano? I don’t remember even saying anything really bad about one. OK, there was just that one time.

I don’t do negative.

You know, I will get to France in the end. The world doesn’t stop turning because of one Icelandic volcano. Or at least I don’t think it does.

Its really all about your own atittude when your facing a situation that that doesn’t imediately suit you. You have to be positive and look for the benefits. I’m using the spare time to write my next ebook. Its never all bad.

Sometime next week, I will be in the south of France and my next ebook will be that bit closer to completion.

So thank you Icelandic volcano.

Its the Easter holidays and as I write this I’m looking out of the window and up into the cold grey sky. Its already a few days into summer here in the UK, but the seasons do not know how to seperate themselves in England. They play games with us, tease us with little glimpses of sunshine. Only to bring in another weather front that reminds us just how foolish we have been for turning off our heating.

Still I shall be in the south of France in less than two weeks. A whole new life. No boss, just me and a laptop. Two years ago it was just a dream, just a vision. How the months have flown by. Thats the really the important point in this post. You don’t realise just how quickly the days zoom by.

If you don’t take action on your own visions, then a year or two will be gone and your still in the same place as before. It is so important to visualise and take action. Nothing stops you in life, but you. Also nothing happens in life if you don’t take action.

When they tell you as a kid, don’t day dream. Guess what, they were wrong. Dream all you can, and make your dreams as vivid as possible. Visualise that new home, see every room in your mind. Make it your goal. Think about your dream , your perfect future on a daily basis. Then plan your route to that actual moment when it becomes reality. It will and can happen if you believe and take action.

Once I’m in France this blog will change direction. I will have more time for starters. So I will blog several times a week. I also want to cover a lot more subjects that interest me. Up until now I have just been putting snippets of information on here mostly about my core business Internet marketing. So expect to see more about life and the lessons that we all should learn. I hope the blog will become a more interactive place.

I will be taking down the free video course soon as well. I have other plans for that space. So please download them now if that Interests you.

Talk soon.

Thought I’d share this quick thought with you.

The sky is the limit. How many times have you heard that? Well its just not true. The sky is never the limit.

You can go as high as you wish. The answer is all about mindset. If you don’t believe its possible to achieve your dreams then you won’t.

However if you feel that nothing can stop you and all is possible, then abundance will flow into your life and you will achieve your dreams and beyond.

Remember there is always two ways to think about any given situation. Positive and negative. One makes you feel down and desperate, the other makes you see clearly the way forward. If you have a choice and you do, its surely better to make the positive choice.

Remember you are what you think.

So think your way to success.

When I first started my online journey in September 08 I had no clear plans for how I was going to succeed. Actually the journey started before that. For several months I floundered around buying into every gurus hype that I came across. My inbox became swamped with different marketing ideas and I know I was being pulled in every direction.

Then I joined Alex Jeffreys coaching program and this taught me how to plan properly. Once I had a clear vision of where I wanted to be in a years time, it became much easier to focus on the certain tasks and more importantly the correct order in which to do them. I won’t pretend that I didn’t stray off the path now and then, but with the mentoring program behind me, I always managed to re-focus and get myself back on track.

So here I am now. A couple of months away from moving from the Uk to the south of France. Where my online journey will continue. Quitting your JOB is a good feeling let me tell you. I aim to develop my own mentoring skills now that I’m going to have so much more time. I have had some good feedback from my first group of students, but I intend to over deliver in the next program that I set up.

Another project that I will set up later in the year is a self-improvement site. Its an area in which I have a lot of interest. Mindset is so important, and makes all the difference to what you attract into your life. I know that I can help a lot of people to develop and grow in this particular niche. I really love seeing people change their life in this way.

I will finish this short post off by thanking you, the readers of this blog, because without you it would be a lonely place. Also a big thankyou to my students for your feedback which helps me to develop whilst you learn. I aim to be giving a lot more value this summer, and want this blog to become a more interactive place. So I am always happy to hear new ideas.

To your success.

Traffic is the life blood of your blog and is the area that most people really struggle with. Especially in the begining of your onlin journey.
If your budget is tight and your new to blogging you may want look for free ways to attract visitors to your site. Here is a list of my favourite methods.

Twitter

Youtube

Blog hopping.

Articles

Facebook

Forums

Twitter

Twitter is a micro blogging platform that nearly everyone has heard of by now. The ide is that you communicate with others using only a few words. It is a great way to get targeted followers. The key is not spam the site, but add value by adding real comments and occasionally a link back to your blog.

Youtube

It is really easy to make a quick video and add it to Youtube. Youtube has a fantastic amount of traffic and by adding a link back from your video to your blog you can generate a fair bit of traffic quite quickly.

Blog hopping

This is my favourite method and very easy to do in just a few minutes a day. Basically you visit blogs in your nich and read the posts. Then leave a comment. Usally there is a place to leave a link. Other people will read your comments and click on your links back to your site. You can get a steady trickle of traffic this way very quickly.

Articles

There are many article sites on the net. It does not take long to put a five hundred word article together. You include your links at the bottom. Most sites will take a few days to approve your work, but its worth it when someone uses your article on their site. I have visited many blogs that I have found through article writing.

Facebook

I use Facebook in the same way as I use Twitter. By making comments and now and again promoting my own blog. The key here is add to your friends list by following other people in your niche. Then as your list grows add friends from other peoples profiles.

Forums

Places like the http://www.warriorforum.com are great places to get traffic. The beauty of this method is, its really targeted traffic. Be careful not to spam the site, always add value by making helpful comments or asking sensible questions. You promote your own blog by leaving a link in your signature.

All these methods work. They do take time, but the rewards do come. The important thing is to take action and set some time aside to follow through with these methods on a regular basis.

To your online future.

You know I think we over complicate things when we try to make money on the Internet. Information overload is one of the main reasons, but not the only one. When you first start out on your online journey you are searching for the easiest way to succeed, and this is all about mindset really.

Its easy to jump from one idea to another, especially if you come to a barrier or obstacle. This can often be because you don’t really believe in your own abilities. Something tells you in your sub-concsious that it can’t be that easy, or that you can’t succeed because you never have before.

This is really just you doubting yourself. After all, if others make it work, why not you? Don’t let your inner you hold you back. We are all capable of the same things. What makes the difference is taking action and following through. Take an idea and make it work. If you come to a problem work your way around it. Do not give up. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.

When I first started out, I found a lot of help on the Warrior forum. Actually I still ask a fair amount of questions on there even now. The point is there will always be someone who knows the answer to your problem. Just don’t give in and keep moving on to the next idea. I spent a year doing that and its soul destroying.

Making an online income is not that difficult really. Not when you break it down to the basics.

Find a market.

Build a site.

Drive traffic to it.

Fine tune it.

Maximise sales.

It really can be that simple if you allow it to be.

To your online success.

Another inspirational speaker last weekend was Simon Leung. This guy was working for Google right at the start. Before anyone had even heard of Google. Can you imagine that, a world without Google?

He came up with some very useful tips. We all know Google like unique content, but it goes way deeper than that. The reviewer has to be impressed with real quality. The more knowledgable a site appears the more highly its ranked in Googles eyes. Their main concern is to offer value to their clients.

So Google love corporate sites. The more professional you appear to be, the better. So avoid using templates that everyone and his dog are using.

Never try to fool Google by using software that bends the rules. They have real people trawling through the sites looking for just that. It would only be a matter of time before your discovered.

If your using a squeeze page make sure that you never place ads on it. Its also not enough to just say we never abuse your email under the optin box. It should be actually linked to a privacy page. In saying that, I have seen many successful landing pages that have not followed that rule.

Here is a point worth mentioning as well. When your giving away a free report Google have a preference on the way its worded. It should not say download your free report here. Instead it is better to say free access to your report. The point being that if you optin then the report is not really free, but mearly being exchanged for an email address.

I don’t really understand why thats important, but it did come from Simon Leung and the man is vast sea of knowledge when it comes to Google.

More soon.

What a weekend!

So much to share. I went to the event expecting some hard sales, and in fairness there was a quite a bit tagged onto the end of pitches, but a lot of golden nuggets in between.

One of the best tips that I thought would really work well to build a list fast, was adswaps. Now in the past I have always thought that you would need a really big list already before anyone would be ready to work with you on this, but Mark Anastasi explained how to overcome this problem.

Basically if your list is smaller than the person your doing the swap with, you would simply email your list several times thus giving your new JV partner the same value as yourself. He began his own list building in this exact same way.

So this kind of opens up a new avenue for anyone with a list of just a few hundred subscribers. The main thing as always is to offer value. Make sure whoever your dealing with does not go away feeling short changed.

Another reason for me going to this event was to network. Unfortunately I suffered a back problem a few months ago and I had re-occurence of the problem over the weekend. I think sitting still for hours on end caused this. I wanted to mix with people after the event each evening but always ended up hobbling back to my hotel in agony.

I did however meet one interesting character. His name is Mark Lyford. Now Mark has had his fair share of troubles in the last few years and this even resulted in him doing a bit of bird, but lessons to be learned in the face of adversity and all that. He has had time to plan and has launched http://millionairechallenge.tv/ I think this guy is really going places and its well worth visiting his site. I think the lesson to learn is to never let your dreams die. If you want something bad enough then you find a way to make it happen.

Look out for some more golden nuggets from the list building weekend shortly.

Blogging for Success – Why Honesty Really Counts

Blogging is all the rage at the moment and you will most probably have heard that some people blog full-time and their personal blogs bring them in a fortune each and every month. Whilst this is true for some people, setting up a blog is not a get-rich quick scheme. A blog is actually a long term investment in your future and the more blog posts you can add, the more popular your blog is likely to become.

Before we get carried away with the technical aspects of blogging, let us consider for a moment just why you should set up a blog and think about what you are trying to achieve and what will occur as a by-product. Assuming since you purchased this report, that you are trying to make both your name and earn money as an Internet Marketer, then you need to build a web presence, become an expert in your niche area and write with enthusiasm and with regularity. Writing in your own voice will have others wanting to keep reading because they start to feel that they know you and even more, they will start to believe in you.

When your list of readers begins to grow, the by-product I mentioned in the last paragraph starts to occur and this is when any available products that you have created, will begin to sell to those regular readers.

It is absolutely important however, that you write with honesty and integrity and not just for the sake of writing another post to your site. Remember that your words are selling you and a blog can be extremely therapeutic and give you the opportunity to rant, endorse, sympathise or inform, but do not just write something for cause and effect as this will be counterproductive.

The long term investment in blogging is that to make it successful, regular posts must be published, this helps Google and other search engines pick up on the blog and this in turn drives more traffic. Regular content, search engine optimised and written with enthusiasm and passion will have people gradually signing up to read more.

Don’t despair, it takes time and commitment but providing you have chosen a good niche area, have an easy to read blog/website and a passion for your subject.

You must also never try to be something that you are not, people will see through this in an instant. If you are wondering how you can start your new career without having relevant experience, then don’t worry, the fact that you are reading this report will give you knowledge that others who start afterwards may not have. Your progression into this new career will give you something to write about.
