#4 Robbie William’s new album “Reality Killed The Video Star”

If you haven’t heard of Robbie Williams I’m not surprised. He’s huge across the pond, but in the United States not many know who he is. He’s sold over 70 million albums and is returning after getting sober with his new CD.

It will be interesting to see if he can return to form considering Eminem has been unable since getting Sober.  He’s enlisted super producer Trevor Horn who is famous for not only writing Video Killed the Radio Star, but also bringing Seal out of homeless ness and into Heidi Klum’s arms. Check out his latest single below and the album is available everywhere as of today.  He’s already moved 85,000 physical units in one day in the United Kingdom.

50 cent is now joining the masses and discounting his Deluxe CD to $9.99 on iTunes this week.  Keep in mind he is also releasing the CD a full week early on iTunes exclusively.

Now one would speculate this is to drive sales.  I’m in another camp.  I think its to get the good people of iTunes to sink money into an album that is most likely terrible.  Reviews for this album probably will not come out till this coming weekend, giving 50 a good shot at making some sales before the bad reviews start piling in.  Not one song he’s released from this album has even charted Top 25 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Sorry 50 cent your time has come and gone.

Netflix Movie streaming has been available for Xbox 360 users for over a year and frankly I’ve been a bit jealous.  On Friday in the mail Netflix delivered to me a disc marked do not return.  I inserted it into my PlayStation 3 and here is what appeared.

I was able to watch HD quality movies, pause, fast forward.  Feature for Feature it seemed up to par with the Xbox 360.

Beginning last year the WSOP decided that they would hold off having the Final Table in July and instead make the final 9 players wait until November to finish what they had started.  What that means is the nine players who finished in the Top 9 out of 6,954 players have been sitting around for 120 days collecting endorsements and brushing up on their skills before their poker battle.

This year is extremely unique because of who is involved.  Phil Ivey.  Arguably poker’s greatest player has finally made it to his first WSOP final table.  You could argue why hasn’t he gotten here before if he is so great, well when you are competing against 7,000 other people a certain amount of luck is involved.  Well he has arrived and is ready to unleash his greatness.  Currently Vegas has him as at 7/2 to win the whole thing which I think isn’t high enough considering he has the 3rd to lowest stack of chips.

How Can You Watch the World Series of Poker?

It is going to be broadcasted on ESPN via  short tape delay  on November 10th from 9 to 11:30 eastern.  Be sure to tune in.

I’ve been complaining for two years about Comcast not offering Pay Per View in High Definition? Spike TV, MTV,(Gotta love Real World/Road Rules Challenge) amongst many other channels (NFL RedZone, NBA TV, MLB TV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Outdoor Channel ) are not in HD in my area.  Well by the end of November myself and every other Comcast  subscriber will be able to quit complaining.

Currently Comcast is in the process of rolling out a plethora (I believe 56 total) of new High Definition channels in your area, most of you already have the new channels, but San Francisco still remains with the old lineup.  Has anyone noticed passed channel 740 a bunch of new channels?  I’m eagerly anticipating the High Definition Pay Per View Channel for stuff like this.
