Ughyurs Settling Into Island Life with Ana Luna

As four freed Guantanamo Bay prisoners settle into Bermuda the Ana Luna welcomes them. Khalil Manut, Ablikim Turahu, Sabin Willett, Abdulla Abdulqadir and Salahidin Abdulahat recently took a trip on the Ana Luna.

Look for the Ana Luna in the Bermuda Christmas Boat Parade.

Saturday December 12th is the grand finale of Bermuda's 400th anniversary celebrations. Ana Luna will be there in full glory participating in the parade around Hamilton Harbour. The parade will start promptly at 6.30pm ending with a wonderful display of fireworks around 8.15pm.

Bioluminescent Glow Worm Mating Cruise

New this July and our Summer Moths is the Bioluminescent Glow Worm Mating Cruise. Our mooring at Grotto Bay offers the best display of an amazing sex show (for lack of a better description). Female worms which float on the waters surface and drift with the tide turn an amazing sci-fi green colour when they are ready to mate. This attracts the males from the depths themselves flaming in luminescent colour and 'zap' they mate. It’s a uniquely amazing show happening all around the boat.

Cruise details:

Date: July 9 leaving the dock at 8:30 pm from Grotto Bay. We tie to the mooring in front of the hotel, turn off lights and await the show which begins at 9:15 lasting for about 30 minutes.
Price: $25 per person. You may bring drinks to suit, we will provide Hibiscus Tea.

Land Bound

Greetings to all

Capt'n Nathan land bound briefly. Want to thank all of our guests during the Tall Ships event along with my bro Matt who was just great a a caring crew member and dive buddy. Tall Ships are getting to the USA east coast and we have another two in port here in Bermuda now, very classie on Front street.

Sailing Snorkeling and Scuba Diving have been super of late, water nice and warm and rich with fishes.

We have a very busy July booked and very much looking forward to the fun on the seas..!

We would love to see some of the photos you made while on your Ana Luna Adventures trip. Please add them to the Ana Luna Adventures Flickr Group Pool here. Here is what you need to do.

You need to have your own Flickr account. if you already have one great head on over there. If not, don't worry it is totally free. Click here to go to the Flickr.com site and click on the "create Your Account'link to sign up.

Once you have an account upload your great photos to your account's photo stream. We suggest you add tags or keywords at this time as well.

Next, click here to go to the Ana Luna Adventures Group or paste this link into your browser's address bar http://www.flickr.com/groups/1110054@N22/ . Join the group by clicking on the " Join This Group" link.

Now, go back to your Flicker photo stream, select and click on an image that you want to add to the Ana Luna Adventures group pool opening it. On top of the image will be an icon that says "Send To Group." Select the Ana Luna Adventures group and you are done! repeat this for each photo you want to share.

A lot of exciting new things have been happening with us lately and we want to tell you about it.

First, of course, is that we now have a blog. We intend to use this blog as a format to inform and educate you about all the exciting things we have going on in the Ana Luna Adventures community. You will be seeing free tips for better adventures with us, ways to make your travel more enjoyable, tales from the sea, and resources for Bermuda Travel. We will be posting trip updates, special offers, and much more.

At the bottom of each post is a comments area.We encourage you to post your comments, feedback and thoughts. Our hope is that this blog will become a great resource for you, and by sharing what you know and think, you will be helping others.
