Nearly17 million people live in and around Beijing, where water is a scarce and contaminated commodity, the air pollution levels are five times higher than the World Health Organization standards, and frequent dust storms occur. While all of this pollution is well-known to Chinese officials, little has been done to make any progress, making it one of the most polluted ecosystems in the world.

In an independent study done by the United Kingdom and the United States, they found that the Niger Delta in Nigeria is one of the most polluted ecosystems in the world. The research team which was supported by World Wide Fund for nature ,the World Conservation Union and the Federal Ministry of Environment and coordinated by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation concluded that the Niger Delta is one of the world’s most severely petroleum-impacted ecosystems. Findings of the team included an estimated 1.5 million tons of oil spillage into the Niger Delta over the past 50 years. This figure is about 50 times the estimated volume spilled in the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill in Alaska the United States in 1989. While this undoubtedly has effected the wildlife in the region, it has also had a harsh impact on the rural communities that surround the area as well, making the Niger delta number one on the top five most polluted ecosystems in the world.

Chris Brown’s show stopping performance on The Billboard Awards has some giving praise and criticism.  Artists Pink and Joe Jonas took to Twitter to rant about their irritation with the lip syncing act.  John Legend’s fiancé Chrissy Teigen made a joke about his “anger-management issues.”

“So excited to see Chris Brown!  I love loud and surprising background fits of rage I can hear from the audience!”

The innocent joke obviously struck a chord throughout all Team Chris Breezy and before you knew it the R&B stars little army was tweeting cruel and malicious threats to Chrissy.

Legend standing up for his lady didn’t appreciate and confronted the hate on Twitter.

“And don’t ever tell me to put my “bitch on a  leash”.  She’s a grown woman with her own mind and her own opinions and this is not 1950.”

Don’t underestimate Chrissy, because she hasn’t run from any Breezy fans and taken them on commenting back on tweets.

“Not mad, and certainly not scared. But definitely sad. Ladies, ladies, ladies. Never understood “smh” as much as now.”

Noticing it was time to step in, the singer addressed his fans and told them to calm down and not make “haters into victims.”

“Team Breezy! Lets stop sending death threats!” Brown tweeted. “I know y’all bout that life but it’s the wrong message! Ur turning haters into victims!”

It just seems like every time something good comes to Chris Brown, somehow backlash seems to follow.  Was Chrissy Teigen wrong? No!  People can speak their minds whether you agree or not, it doesn’t make you a hater.  Chris was right to step in but his message didn’t do any justice.

From Twitter rants to being thrown out of nightclubs, Breezy just can’t stay out of bad light.

PerezHilton.com reports, while hanging with his friends in a Las Vegas club, the singer was trying his best to impress a group of ladies.  Witnesses say Breezy spent money on the ladies in VIP, buying bottle service and showing extra attention to the group.  It wasn’t enough because the girls later ditched him for another table and that’s when things turn bad.

“Brown got visibly upset when the girls moved on to the next table. Brown approached the guys in the group [at the next table] and started getting visibly agitated. Brown stood up, and looked like he was about to start a fight when club security stopped him.”

I don’t think his girlfriend Karrueche would be too happy.  Maybe that’s why Chris Brown’s rep is denying the story but the Vegas club confirmed that an incident did occur involving the Grammy winner and security.

911 dispatchers received a call from17 year old Johnathon Hoffman who had explained to them he had been shot in the chest by his grandmother and was dying. By the time Police units arrived the teen was shot several more times.

Layne, who is now in Police Custody has plead not guilty to charges of  open murder, which means the jury will decide whether to charge her with first or second degree murder, if any charges will be filed at all.

The teen was staying with his grandparents in Michigan to finish high school, while his parents were getting established in Arizona. The parents were busy taking care of their 15 year old daughter Jessica who had been diagnosed with having a brain tumor.

Layne’s attorney Mitchell Ribitwer, claimed she was scared of her grandson. He told reporters Monday that drugs, and drug paraphernalia apparently belonging to the teen were found at the condo after Hoffman was killed.

In March Hoffman was arrested for drug possession and Ribitwer says that Layne had called police after Hoffman had behaved erratically, threatening her and using profane slurs.

According to Detroit News Hoffmans father had little reason to believe that the teen and his grandmother were on such unstable ground. The father said that the teen, had experimented with illegal drugs such as psychedelic mushrooms but did not believe it to be a problem considering his son called the police because he did not enjoy the experience.

Hoffman’s father went on to say that no matter what charges come against Layne it wont bring back his son. ”As far as I’m concerned, we lost our son, and anything that happens to her won’t change that,”

Wearing an orange Jump suite in court the 74 year old Layne smiled to her husband of 28 years before sitting with her head down. The 5’5 110 pound 17 year old was not an imposing figure, but the 74 year old grandma was scared for her life, and unfortunately responded with deadly force.

Grandma turned violent shooting her grandson.

Despite liberal protestations to the contrary, the economy will not get better under Obama. All historical and economic indicators point to, at best, a stagnant economy propped up by an administration willing to bankrupt the country to maintain hold of political power using failed progressive policies.

Historical Perspective

The last time a “true progressive” was in office was FDR – whom Obama has on many occasions compared himself to – during the Great Depression of the 1930’s. Just like Hoover had recommended during the Depression of 1920, FDR set out on a massive government stimulus program that went out about the business of putting people back to work and jumpstarting the economy.

Sound familiar?

• The CCC put about 3 million men to work during its nine year existence.
• FERA – Provide about $500 million to the states
• CWA – Provide temporary labor
• AAA – Provided farm subsidies
• WPA – Put about 3 million people to work

And the list goes on. Millions of people went to work for the federal government – but once Roosevelt attempted to end these programs – the country went into another recession in 1937. Anytime the government attempts to prop up the economy – the economy will falter once the government stops.

This is what Obama is doing – propping up the economy with deficit spending that at best has the economy stagnating along – and once he stops, the economy will falter.

Current Economic Indicators

Flash forward to today, Obama is choosing to ignore the trends of his failed policies by following the progressive playbook to the letter. The indicators are there:

CBO: Recession in 2013 unless Congress acts on fiscal issues

 Tax increases, spending cuts, Obamacare, as well as other factors will cause another recession unless addressed by Congress – Looks like we’re screwed.

Consumer confidence in the economy is already low and falling fast:

• 89% have a negative opinion of the economy – Source
• 50% feel the country will go bankrupt — Source
• Only 33% feel the economy will get better in the next year while 57% disapprove of Obama’s handling of the economy — Source

Please note that polls can be all over the place, but look at the similarity. The American public has lost confidence in the economy and in Obama – yet he plans on doing the same thing.

Creating Jobs

Obama supporters will tell you that the stimulus has created, or saved, over 3 million jobs – despite the fact that they no longer count the number of jobs. Depending on where you get your information, that number could easily increase depending on the slant of the source.

However, if you were to press the issue, you will get responses such as:

• It could have been worse if we hadn’t passed the stimulus. – Not an inspiring statement since the current underemployment rate has been hovering around 18.73%.
• Unemployment benefits create jobs.

So, is that why we need 99 weeks of unemployment benefits? So, we can all get a job? Someone has to explain the logic of that one to me. (But we are talking about Pelosi, aren’t we?)

• Obamacare provides economic stability for families and will create jobs – Are you sure?
• The stimulus will keep unemployment under 8% — It was over 8% when the stimulus was passed and has never been under since

Now, the Obama campaign has attacked Romney – the businessman. This is getting push back from his own party who are refusing to support this strategy.

How bad is it when a die-hard liberal is saying that the President should change his strategy?

Think about it! The Obama campaign is attacking a businessman about running a business while wanting businesses to create jobs. Does anyone else see a flaw in this strategy?

Presidential Election

Again, if you listen to liberals, Obama has been the greatest thing since slice bread – wait, he was the one who invented slice bread — so, they would tell you that he should cancel all elections and should appoint himself dictator since he is sort of — God.

Then can they explain why this election is as close as it is?

• ABC News/Washington Post Poll – 49% Obama/46% Romney and is in within the margin of error. (In the same poll, 30% say they are worse off than four years ago.).
• 41% of voters in the West Virginia Democratic primary preferred a convicted felon over Obama.
• 42% of voters voted for an unknown or were uncommitted as opposed to voting for Obama.
• Romney holds a six point lead in Florida – 47%-41%.
• Politico shows Obama’s lead dwindling from 7 points on 5/15 to 4 points on 5/20.
• RealClearPolitics.com which does an average of all of the polls has Obama with a 1.7 point lead which is clearly within the margin of most polls.

Note: If you look at the polls RCP used to calculate the current average, Romney is winning among likely voters as opposed to registered voters. That is a huge difference.

Despite all of the spin provided by the Obama campaign, people feel they are worse off than they are before. People have given up looking for work. People have lost hope and are looking for a new kind of change.

Simply put, the people have realized that the economy will not get better under Obama.
