Monday: Fed's night - Show a Government ID or a DOD contractor ID and receive two for one drink specials between 5 and 7pm.

Tuesday: Tini night - All Signature Martinis are only $5. Show an Apple Ipod or Iphone and your first Apple-tini is on the house.

A legend has Fallen

Today we mourn and celebrate the life of a True Legend. Michael Jackson will always live with us...From all corners or this world, children and adults loved him. He has been my Star since I was five years old. His music is so pure and he touched many hearts. I have not seen any artist who has pulled so much crowd and I don't think there is one yet born. From all continents, even the children born 5 years ago know the name Michael Jackson.

Wherever he is right now, we believe he is in a better place. Michael, so many people love you and you will always be remembered. You were a legend in this past century and your memories will live on from generation to generation.

You are greatly missed Michael!

I have watched the transformation of the hotel and it is so cool how things are taking shape. Where there use to be just chalk lines on the floor, walls are springing up. The concrete has been poured in splash, the VoIP lines are in, and carpet is starting to go down in the Aloft rooms.

The NEW Aloft BWI is arriving this summer at the Baltimore Washington International Airport.

Aloha,

How's things going? I wanted to let you know what Aloft is and the cool role I play at the new Aloft-BWI.

At Aloft, we celebrate the individual and offer something entirely different from the usual cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all experience which today's travellers have come to expect as the norm. We are not like the others, in fact that is what makes us so special. Aloft is the hotel for those who enjoy a social scene with an eclectic energy, open spaces, and a change from the ordinary.

The first time I entered the lobby of an Aloft hotel, my eyes just lit up. Everything was so different and that was what intrigued me. Cool music being spun by a "DJ" filled the lobby, the furniture was stylish, and there was even a pool table in the lobby. The best part about my first trip to an Aloft was really the people. They didn't follow a scripted role, instead they were people with unique personalities who really had fun at what they did.

Nearly everything in Aloft breaks the mold of what you come to expect. From the greeting of Aloha to the lingo we use. Gone are the common terms hotels have always used: pool, lobby, business center, meeting room, or even a fitness center. Instead we call them splash, re:mix, in-touch, tatic, and re:charge.

So I have shared with you just a little bit about Aloft, here is what I do: I inspire the team, I ensure that you are truly enjoying yourself, and I get to have fun doing what I do.

I can't wait to meet you next time you stop by. I would be happy to show you around. If you want to shoot a round of pool, I am always game...
