Ever since I was young, I have been dealing with psoriasis. It began behind my ears and
By the time I was 13 it spread to my scalp. When I was 14, it began forming on my
forehead, slowly. I went to a dermatologist and tried about 3 different types of topical
liquid solutions. None of them worked. In the past 5 years the psoriasis on my forehead
has become even worse, it covers my forehead from my hairline to my eyebrows.

I’ve abstained from using make-up on it as often as possible, I’ve tried using moisturizing
lotions, prosacea gel treatment, etc. The only time I’ve noticed a difference is when
I’m out in the sun, but due to where I live the sun is only warm 3 months out of the
year and I don’t have the means to go to a tanning salon.

I’ve tried reading up on home remedy treatments and some seem too costly while
others don’t work at all. I’m asking for treatment advice/personal stories for cures from anyone
who knows what it’s like to deal with psoriasis.

Thanks.

More About Psoriasis

Hi, you can try one of the natural treatments for psoriasis from the Internet – some of them do actually work. For my psor. I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and they stay clear for months on end.
Try it: champori is available without prescription and comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn’t work for you – it’s free.

Facts and Information about Psoriasis

Psoriasis can be found in both sexes evenly and could occur at any age, although it most frequently appears initially between the ages of 15 and 25 years.

About thirty percent of people with psoriasis have a family history of the disease, and experts have identified genetic signals that come with the condition.

One belief considers psoriasis as mainly a disorder of excessive growth and reproduction of skin cells. The infection is simply seen as a fault of the epidermis.

One school of thought sees the disease as being an immune-mediated condition in which the unceccessary reproduction of skin cells is unrelated to factors induced by the immune system.

Psoriasis comes about more frequently in dry skin than oily or well-moisturized skin, and specifically following an external skin injury such as a scratch or cut.

To reduce dry skin and help psoriasis symptoms, it is essential to not use shower scrubs, as they not only hurt skin by leaving tiny scratches, they also scrape off the naturally present skin oil.

Although anti-inflammatory medications may relieve indications of the disease they do not solve the underlying problem and may not be the right option for cure.

There can be severe variation between people in the effectiveness of specific psoriasis treatments and, thanks to this, dermatologists generally use a trial-and-error approach to discovering the most appropriate treatment for their patient.

It has long been recognized that frequent, short, non-burning exposure to the sun is known to slow down or improve psoriasis.

Psoriasis is often a lifelong condition; there is at present no cure but a number of treatments can help to alleviate the symptoms that affect the patient.

In fact, a recent survey showed that most people who have psoriasis are unhappy with their current therapy. If you have stopped treating your psoriasis or you are unhappy with your current therapy, now is the time to try Psoriasil.

Psoriasil is a non-toxic, yet effective treatment that will relieve your Psoriasis symptoms and is proven to be successful where other prescription creams and alternative natural remedies have failed.

Don’t waste any more of your valuable money. Our solution is guaranteed to work for you or you get your money back.

Psoriasil can work for you!

“I have had red, scaly, & itchy skin for many years & have tried various products such as Dermarrest, Blue Star ointment, Accutane, Retin-A, & even microdermabrasion only to be disappointed time & time again. One day, I was searching online for products with natural ingredients for psoriasis & came across your website. With skepticism, I placed an order & received your product in October, 2009. As promised, within hours, the itching subsided & within a day, the redness started to disappear. Many have made compliments on the appearance of my complexion. I am truly grateful for your product (Proecza) & have recommended it to others. Whenever I have placed an order, the staff has been very helpful, courteous, & kind. Also, your product is very cost friendly & easy to use. May the Lord bless you. THANKS.”

“I was suffering with Psoriasis for over 15 years and tried everything that was offered on the market and even the most expensive prescription drugs. My arm felt and looked like thick alligator skin and it was very embarrassing.

It really affected my quality of life and the constant itch was overwhelming. In every picture of myself over the past 15 years my right hand was scratching my left arm; I was shocked to learn this.

I wish I had a BEFORE picture to submit; My psoriasis was so red and inflammed. But, i do have a picture of 3 weeks after I started using your Psoriasil and the moisturizer and one of today. I continue to use the Psoriasil as a maintenance about once a week and I have not experienced a flareup in over 6 months.

This oil is nothing but a miracle for me. Every Dermatologist should know about your product. Thanks Qbased for being there for me and adding quality back into my life”.

What is psoriasis? Even if you suspect you have it or are already diagnosed, it can still be confusing. Basically, psoriasis is a condition in which skin cells multiply nearly ten times faster than they normally would, stacking up on the surface of the skin to form the lesions that characterize psoriasis. It ranges from mild (less than 5% of the body surface is affected) to severe (more than 30% is affected), but it’s generally not progressive. Scientists aren’t sure exactly what causes psoriasis, but they have agreed on three factors: genetics, the immune system and the environment. Flare-ups of psoriasis are periodic and unpredictable; there can be years between outbreaks, or just days. Most often the lesions appear as silvery-red, flaky scales on parts of the body that flex, like elbows and knees, but they can show up anywhere from the scalp to the nails to the genital areas.
Psoriasis Treatment at HomeTaking daily baths will help you minimize your psoriasis symptoms. Soaking in warm (not hot) water for 15 minutes or so, especially if you add Oatmeal, coal tar products, or Dead Sea salts, can soothe your irritated skin and also provide relief for psoriasis of the nails. Use fragrance-free soaps whenever possible, and always be sure to pat your skin dry rather than rub it. It is okay to use a loofah or washcloth to slough off scales as long as you scrub very gently and follow up immediately with psoriasis cream, psoriasis medication or a moisturizer. For scalp psoriasis, washing your hair with a psoriasis shampoo will help ease itchiness and flakiness.
Moisturizing frequently is an effective psoriasis remedy. Itchiness is one of the main complaints of those who suffer from psoriasis, but moisturizers can provide immense psoriasis relief and help you avoid picking and scratching off a whole layer of skin (not recommended). There are many different moisturizers to choose from, and you may have to experiment to see what works best in your skin care regimen. Look for emollients with animal-based oils (like shea/cocoa butters or lanolin) and moisturizers with water-binding agents that will help skin maintain its water concentrations (like collagen, amino acids and proteins). Natural moisturizers such as aloe vera, jojoba oil and vitamins D and E are also effective anti-irritants and will help calm your skin.
Eating a psoriasis diet will help keep your psoriasis under control. A psoriasis diet is low in red meat and dairy products- which contain "arachidonic acid" that can cause inflammation – and high in antioxidant-filled fruits and vegetables. Try to avoid processed and refined foods, as they usually lack nutrition and can cause your body to become unbalanced. Supplements such as beta-carotene, zinc and vitamins A and C are said to help with several aspects of psoriasis, but it is best to consult your doctor first so that you don’t take too much of a certain vitamin or exacerbate another condition. Be sure to get plenty of water, and use moderation if you choose to drink alcohol.
Getting natural sunlight can be an effective treatment for psoriasis. Sunlight slows down the growth of skin cells, which in turn can reduce your psoriasis symptoms. Try for daily doses of about twenty minutes at a time, but be patient – it may take several weeks before you notice improvement. Although sunlight has proven to be an effective psoriasis treatment, it is important to take precautions for your safety. Avoid the sun between 10 and 2, when the rays are strongest, and protect yourself by using sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. Also be aware that many medications can make you much more susceptible to the sun. If you live in a climate with long winters or are uneasy about being in the sun, there are several alternatives that are mentioned in the conclusion.
Avoiding psoriasis triggers can help in healing psoriasis. You knew it was coming: the list of what you should not do. For psoriasis, here’s what can bring on a flare-up: stress or tension (either sudden or daily), illness, infection (such as streptococcus, or "strep throat"), smoking, alcohol, obesity, skin injury (sunburn is a good example), certain drugs (especially lithium and beta blockers), and allergies. You may find it helpful to keep a daily record of what was going on for you at the time of a flare-up – what you were eating, how the weather was, and any stressful events that might have occurred. This can help you notice a pattern and possibly reduce your psoriasis symptoms.

Often, scraping or performing a skin biopsy maybe needed to eliminate any other skin disease other than Psoriasis. Often, results of a skin biopsy will reveal pegs which resemble clubbed. If this is found, then it indicates Psoriasis. If plaques appear scraped the pinpoint will be bleeding. This is another typical diagnosis sign of Psoriasis.

It can be difficult for the doctor to diagnose psoriasis in the early stages, when the disease may be limited to rough patches on the elbows. Certain symptoms, such as a dandruff-like scalp condition or what looks like a fungal infection, may be hard to recognize as psoriasis. Nail pits may be a sign of early psoriasis, but they may also be a sign of other conditions. The diagnosis is straightforward if the doctor examines the skin and sees thick, red, flaky patches-the plaques characteristic of psoriasis.

Common places of occurrence where psoriasis occurs in the body

Common body parts where Psoriasis occurs include the knees and elbows. However, other areas such as genitals and the scalp can be affected by Psoriasis. Unlike eczema, in the case of Psoriasis, the condition occurs on extensor portion of a joint. The extent of Psoriasis occurrence can vary from specific spots to the entire body. In a specific case of Psoriasis called Psoriatic Nail Dystrophy the toenails and fingernails are commonly infected. This condition occurs in isolation to the rest of the body.

Life altering
We understand that Psoriasis is life altering, that is why we are here to help you, and get your life back on track. Psoriasis has the ability to affect the overall quality of life much like all the serious diseases. Just like depression, hypertension, myocardial infarction, heart failure or even the Diabetes Type II, Psoriasis too can affect an individual’s lifestyle. Pain and itching of the skin is common, which can alter the quality of life significantly. Basic functions of life like sleeping, self care and walking can be affected because of Psoriasis. In addition, persons suffering from Psoriasis suffer from lack of self esteem because of being self conscious. As per statistics conducted by National Psoriasis Foundation in 2008, 71% out of 426 Psoriasis sufferers felt the disease significantly affected daily life. As much as 63% reported feeling self-conscious and 58% felt embarrassed with their condition. Let US help YOU.

Although anti-inflammatory solutions could relieve symptoms of the disease they do not solve the underlying cause and may not be the right option for cure. There can be serious variation between individuals in the effectiveness of specific psoriasis treatments and, thanks to this, dermatologists sometimes use a trial-and-error approach to finding the most appropriate treatment for their patient. It has long been proven that frequent, short, non-burning exposure to sunlight is known to slow down or improve psoriasis. Psoriasis is frequently a lifelong problem; there is currently no cure but various treatments can help to alleviate the symptoms that affect the sufferer. Psoriasis can get worse over time but it is not possible to predict those that will go on to develop serious psoriasis or those in whom the disease may appear to recede.

It’s typically tough to inform the distinction between

Psoriasis scalp

and dandruff. This is as a result of each share similar symptoms like itchy psoriasis scalp and white flakes of dead skin cells. But, there is a distinction between these two scalp issues and it is important to know the distinction so as to seek the right treatment.

The primary factor to note is that psoriasis scalp might be the underlying reason for dandruff. Psoriasis scalp is thought to be caused by immune system and a genetic predisposition to psoriasis. Very often if a member of your family has psoriasis scalp, you may have inherited the genes. However, not all people who have the psoriasis genes go on to develop psoriasis scalp. Folks of any age will get psoriasis scalp: children, teenagers, adults and older people. Psoriasis tends to have an effect on men and women equally.

As mentioned, both psoriasis scalp and dandruff can cause similar symptoms. Psoriasis scalp will be triggered off by something from cuts, abrasions, scratches and even sunburn. More usually than not a flare up can happen in winter: the skin becomes flaky and dry because of a scarcity of natural sunlight. With psoriasis scalp, the patches are commonly seen on the rear of the head however can be seen on other areas of the psoriasis scalp or perhaps cover the complete scalp. The psoriasis scalp could not be confined just to the scalp. Scaly, silvery patches might seem on areas such as elbows, knees, lower back, groin and other body folds.
The treatments for both psoriasis scalp and dandruff are similar. Treatments embrace using shampoos that contain coal tar and salicyclic acid or topical steroid creams to cut back inflammation. Since dandruff is caused by fungus, using an anti-fungal shampoo to inhibit the expansion of the fungi usually does the trick.
The distinction between

Informational Facts About Psoriasis

Psoriasis can become worse over time but it is nigh on impossible to predict those that will go on to develop extensive psoriasis or those in whom the disease may appear to vanish.

One theory considers psoriasis as essentially a result of excessive growth and increase of skin cells. The condition is simply seen as a fault of the epidermis.

One hypothesis sees the disease as being an immune-mediated condition in which the excessive reproduction of skin cells is next to factors produced by the immune system.

Psoriasis breaks out more frequently in dry skin than oily or well-moisturized skin, and usually as a result of an external skin injury such as a scrape or cut.

To eliminate dry skin and help psoriasis symptoms, it is advised to not use shower scrubs, as they not only damage skin by leaving tiny scratches, they also scrape off the naturally essential skin oil.

Although anti-inflammatory medications may relieve signs of the condition they do not solve the underlying affliction and may not be the preferred option for cure.

There can be substantial variation between people in the effectiveness of specific psoriasis treatments and, thanks to this, dermatologists sometimes use a trial-and-error approach to working out the most appropriate treatment for their patient.

It has long been understood that prevalent, short, non-burning exposure to the sun helps to slow down or improve psoriasis.

My friend is having both BP and Psoriasis and hence please give me a home remedy which is good for boththese problems sice most medecines for psoriasis interferes with BP

I have both of these problems and have for about 20 yrs. The high blod pressure came first and then I started with the psoriasis. The blood pressure problem will not go away with any home remedies. They say garlic lowere BP,if that were the truth than I would have a BP so low it would not even register. I use several heads of garlic a week in my cooking and always did even before high BP,and nothing and I mean nothing can get rid of or decrease psoriasis, even the meds to take and some are very dangerous only work for short times and interferes with healing of the immune system. I have been to specialists at all the best hospitals in the East,in several states, and psoriasis is here to stay. So in a nut shell, home remedies just wont work, herbists will try to tell you they do, but nothing has been proven and the longer you go with high BP the worse it is on your body. I use creams for the psoriasis just to stop the itch.

I have palm psoriasis in both hands. They say that there is no cure for it, but long term treatment could eventually make the symptoms fade away for some time. Does it mean that it could be cured with proper treatment but for a long time?

Hi,

Sadly not all areas of the world have the internet, and can not find out how psoriasis is cured in Japan.

Yes stress is the root cause of eczema in many cases.

I have been helping a friend get rid of his psoriasis’ on his skin, it covers about 2 square feet of his arms and hands.

He has been spraying on 2.5 PH water for about a month now, and it is working. He is also drinking 9.5 PH water. His wife has MS, and is also drinking the 9.5 PH alkaline water, and is doing much better.

You can get free alkaline water – place a wanted add on http://craigslist.com Place a add to ask for 8.5 PH drinking water, and hope that the person can also make 2.5 PH water. Drinking the alkaline water will help, even if you can not spray the 2.5 PH water on your skin – as shown in the video below.

Here is a demo video to watch for the eczema cure as seen in Japan. Sorry but the hospitals in the United States and Europe are not this advanced at this time.

Allergies to food include shellfish, garlic, and others. Stop eating things like cheese, then milk products, then anything brewed (beer, yogurt, breads made with yeast). When it goes away, then you have some idea of what you should stop eating.

Or use the process developed in Japan, and eat what you want to.

Exposure to UV light can also help many who have eczema. Yes walking out in the sunshine, without UV protecting sunblock on will expose your skin condition to UV light.

Good Luck !
