This week’s CTIA festivities aren’t the same since Samsung and Google decided to postpone their new product announcement that was originally scheduled for today, but now we’re hearing the Ice Cream Sandwich / Nexus party has already been rescheduled. An inside source tells us the two have moved their plans for the Unpacked event to October 19th in Hong Kong (may be the 18th for US viewers due to the time difference), timed to coincide with the AsiaD: All Things Digital event there next week. Naturally, we’ll be in the house, but with not long to go before the potential date, we’d expect to hear something concrete soon.

Of course not, but did you expect it to be bundled with a powder-blue console? Here’s the skinny: Nintendo’s Mario & Sonic at the 2012 Olympic Games Limited Edition Pack pairs the outfit’s upcoming Gamecube-free Wii refresh with the ghetto fabulous chromatic pop of the 1970s’ <strike>tackiest</strike> grooviest tuxedo craze. Like the “Family Edition” bundle that clued us in on the hardware refresh, this package has only been announced for Europe, and there’s still no word on how much either set will cost. Nintendo of Europe says they will be announcing additional bundles later this year, but if you just have to have a matching console for your blue Wiimote, you can pick one up November 18th.

We’re still awaiting the release of the Samsung Galaxy S II on T-Mobile this week, and yet it’s already starting to look like yesterday’s half-eaten breakfast. That’s because some fuzzy details are now leaking out about its inevitable successor, the mystical Galaxy S III. The leaked presentation slide above, uncovered by Phandroid, shows a phone that’s packing a 1.8GHz dual-core Exynos 4212 CPU with 2GB of RAM and a 12 megapixel rear-facing camera. Oh, and a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display isn’t too shabby either. If this ends up being true, we’re a bit puzzled by the inclusion of four buttons on the bottom — a departure from the first two Galaxy S devices — and why the slide refers to the original Galaxy S as running on an Exynos processor, rather than Hummingbird. Color us a shade of skeptic since we’re still a few months out from CES and MWC, but it’s never too early to start getting excited over an upcoming device, right?

The iPhone 4S which already announced recently by Apple Inc. is the latest creation of Steve Jobs, who has passed away last week of cancer at 56. Mr. Jobs is physically dead but he still live in our thoughts. Surprisingly enough, it’s unlike the rumors spreading on the net that is said the new iPhone would be called iPhone 5, but Apple has gave the new device named “iPhone 4S” with a same design to the iPhone 4 but total different inside with upgraded features. The new device gets a 3.5-inch 960640 326ppi Retina Display, 8 Megapixel camera with F/2.4 aperture, advanced hybrid IR filter that produce sharper, brighter and more accurate image and Full HD 1080p video recording. Under the hood, you’ll found a dual-core A5 processor and dual-core graphics chip, which, according to Apple, offers twice the processing power and up to seven times faster graphics than its predecessor.

The iPhone 4S also features Siri intelligent assistant, however Siri doesnt completely replace the current Voice Control feature, but it certainly does a whole lot more. Siri is designed to deliver information or follow commands that you give it. Other features include black or white choice of color, support both CDMA EVDO and GSM/UMTS networks including download speed with HSDPA of up to 14.4 Mbps. It runs iOS 5 that offers iCloud, iMessage, Notification Center, built-in Twitter integration, .etc. The iPhone 4S expect to hit US stores for $199 (16GB), $299 (32GB), and $399 (64GB) model, with contract, where you can place an order at Apple’s Online Store, Apples retail stores and through AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and Sprint.

A 3D phone? Who woulda thunk it? HTC would have, and the EVO 3D is the product of its labor. The jury’s still out on whether 3D will end up being more than just some over-marketed, over-sensationalized fad, but judging by the sales of this thing on Sprint’s network, someone is into the concept. We saw it as one of Sprint’s stronger Android offerings, but the lackluster battery life and par-for-the-course display were quirks that we couldn’t quite overlook. For those who bit, what are your main annoyances? Would you change the design at all? Toss in a different panel? Would you tweak anything about the Sense implementation? Is the 3D camera serving you well? Let us know in comments below!

We admit it: this could just be another highfalutin gadget render that’ll never breathe the polluted whiff of day. But it’s a nice render, which demonstrates a concept called the Smellit: a miniature olfactory factory that’s meant to connect to your PC and bring a “fourth dimension” to video and gaming. Its creator, Nuno Teixeira, even claims he’s found a French company to build the device and show it off at the Lisbon Design Show next week. Now, the principle of a practically-sized scent generator has already been demonstrated by others, but we won’t be convinced until we have to open a window.

Just because next week’s joint Samsung and Google event has been postponed doesn’t mean the leaks have to end. A Sammy handset with the model number I9250, which matches up nicely with the baseband version in the Galaxy Nexus shots that popped up, just made an appearance at the FCC packing a GSM radio compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile’s HSPA networks. It’s also boasting dual-band 802.11n, Bluetooth <strike>and NFC</strike>. Despite suggestions that the next Nexus device would be a Verizon exclusive, we could be looking at the AT&T version or at least the unlocked GSM model. <strike>The fact that it doesn’t support T-Mobile’s 2100MHz band leads us to believe this won’t be popping up in T-Mo shops</strike>. It appears that T-Mobile AWS is included. Noticeably missing, however, is any mention of LTE — that particular feature could still be the sole realm of Big Red. Hopefully we won’t have to wait much longer to find out all the details. One more image after the break.

ASUS has a big event next week in the Big Apple, where the super slim UX21 and UX31 will be revealed. Granted, the company said it’ll be showing off “the real Ultrabook,” on October 11th, but the eagle-eyed folks at Notebook Italia spied some evidence that the laptops in question will be called Zenbooks instead. Proof of the new moniker was found in the title of the information request form on the ASUS UX countdown site, but it was gone when we looked for ourselves. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see whether the newest thin and light laptops are, indeed, PCs possessing inner peace.
