I am totally absorbed and devoted to making my new job work. Not just work but also exceed and prove myself. I guess I have been hit by a mild case of first week jitters..I am enjoying myself and love the fact that I'm not stuck with a mean boss, no weird mood swings and no 'bitches' lurking in the background. Can it be?

So I humbly ask myself the question,is it possible that I have a job where everyone is genuinely nice? Well, after 3 weeks I think it is, finally I might add after job jumping between one mean boss after another..In the meantime I am finding ways to get inspired for my next darling and purchase for the closet. A pair of nude colored shoes and a plisse shirt, perhaps something like: Fairytale fashion..I am under the influence that nude is color of choice no matter what occasion..:-)

2 colored stocking, the new look?

I have been busy getting used to the idea of working again and it has been exciting and exhausting, eventough the 'designing' has been laid on the shelf at the moment I still sell some clothes at a Gallery in central Christchurch and have been dedicated to draw and create the spring and limited summer garments..

I just found a cozy cardigan, cable knitted and navy blue with cute round buttons and mini pockets in front (a Second hand find) opting for some change in my otherwise 'brown and champagne' colored closet. I have strutted the stuff at various markets and sunday promenades, combined with my rolled up boyfriend looking jeans from Rachel Hunter...

Where to buy a knitted cardigan for Autumn and 2 colored leggings, stockings?

So it's finished, my Line Sheet that is (making it in the business is really on a step by step basis). I had been working on it the whole weekend and when it was finally ready to be sent I asked my trust worthy partner have a quick look at it. He gave me one comment..'Hun, this attachment is too big to send"..'What" I bursted out.."yes, the size.. sweet, nobody is going to be that patient". I started scrolling down the document, looking at both the hours of torture choosing between one picture and another and in this scenario, what to take off. "So, what do you suggest me to do?". He moved away slowly as if he knew that I was going to be upset. "You have to resize all the photos again, take them off and then put them on, and then go to properties to.." I had stopped listening...

...just in time for September and I have to admit, the words: Fashion is a Religion, this is it's Bible has an appeal to it. With her trademark 'bob' Anna Wintour aka Meryl's character in 'The Devil wears Prada' is the King of the Hill, I just have to see this for myself.
