She comes from a background in karting being one of Britain's top karters in the Junior ICA class with fourth place in the BRDC Stars of Tomorrow championship in 2006. In 2007 she started racing cars in the Ginetta G20 Junior championship and continued in the Ginettas for the 2008 season where she was on the podium four times. She also continued to race karts and made the big jump from ICA Junior to race in the KZ1 class in the Stars of Tomorrow championship.
