Oftentimes we feel overwhelmed because we lack focus and clarity.

We don’t know where to begin.

Sometimes we just like to be involved in every online conversation and get sidetracked from our primary goals.

It can be quite challenging to weed through all the Internet information overload and commotion and put the blinders on to focus on your primary projects.

A while ago I felt that very same way.

Fast forward 6 months…

Today I feel very accomplished and productive in my online endeavors thanks to my finding and accountability partner.

An accountability partner is someone who plain and simply holds you accountable to what you say you will do during any given day. He or she will listen to your goals and your “to dos” and help you prioritize and strategize ways to plan your day effectively.

Ideally, accountability partners speak every work morning and discuss their plans for the day. That evening, or following morning, the accountability buddies check in and report what they completed or did not complete.

Here’s what having Accountability Partner does for you:

1) Motivates you when you feel you are going through a challenging time.

2) Encourages you to continue when you feel like throwing in the towel.

3) Inspires you to be more focused, especially when you see your accountability partner achieve something they set out to do – It inspires you to keep up your momentum to do the same.

4) Provides that accountability you rarely keep to yourself.

5) It is like your business insurance ; if you don’t get something done and forget about it, you have someone to remind you of what’s most important.

The first time I experienced the joy of working with an accountability buddy was with a program called “Call to Action ” at the Human Communications Institute , founded by transformational and motivational speaker, Michael Bernhoff. I had the pleasure of working with one of Michael’s assistants – Gilena – who was my accountability buddy for a full week. I was incredibly productive - so productive that in one week, I completed what I would have done in what seemed like three months worth of work. (By the way, if you call Gileana and tell her Dali Burgado referred you - she’ll have a cool surprise for you).

I now have an accountability buddy I have the privilege to call a good friend - Andrea Goodsaid .

I have noticed the changes we both have made in our online business productivity.

When we began our partnership, I helped her decide on her most pressing project; we began to brainstorm ways to help her get going and what to complete before moving on to the next project.

Once she became focused things took off and she got the ball rolling on something she had been meaning to do but didn’t quite get around to doing it.

I’ve also noticed great changes in my activity.

Now I don’t focus on filling my days up with any type of work or activity, I’ve become somewhat of an Online Productivity Geek

Today I tend to avoid getting side-tracked by time-fillers.

I also find myself completing tasks a lot faster. The neat thing is that our accountability partnership turned into a Joint Venture Partnership.

Now this is all fine and Dandy, Dali, But How do I find find an accountability partner?

I’m glad you asked!

Here are some tips on Finding and Choosing the Right Accountability Partner for You

1) Think of people who are motivated and success-driven . You’ll want someone who is reliable and who will really hold you accountable. A great place to find accountability partners are on online forums or social networking sites.

2) Think of someone who might compliment your skills set . i.e. a savvy Internet marketer who has some experience in marketing that you don’t yet have. It is nice when you can exchange marketing tips and mutually benefit from each others’ experiences.

3) Find someone in your niche. Your accountability buddy doesn’t have to be in your particular online business or network marketing company. I met my partner on an online forum. We shared the same philosophies and had several things in common. We also connected on a personal level before we decided to be buddies.

4) Make sure you are both participating equally. Effort must be shown on both sides to make the partnership work.

5) Meet often. Ideally every work day will assist you to be more consistent and productive in your business.

6) Talk about personal goals too. You will both want to make sure you create balance in your personal lives in order to be successful in your business because what affects you personally will affect you in your business.

7) Your partner should be someone you can trust . In the event you have things going on personally, you should feel comfortable speaking to your buddy about it – not necessarily at length, but on a level where they know you are not at 100% that day.

Don’t forget to Have fun – Having an accountability buddy also makes your journey to online success a lot more fun. You will begin to see how two people can co-create awesome experiences by brainstorming and keeping each other on task.

1. Tell me a little about yourself…

My name is Rick Itzkowich and I’m the co-founder of Productive Learning & Leisure - a personal development company that offers courses and Learning Vacations all over the world. I was born and raised in Mexico City and I’m married to a Swede. My grandparents are from Poland and Russia. So I’m doing my best to spread out the gene pool . I’m best known for shooting it straight and doing what I say I will do. I have a very dry sense of humor. My personal mantra is to Live an Xtraordinary life.

2. What made you decide to work online?

In one of my “entrepreneurial seizures” I created a fully automated follow-up system called QuoteActions. This system allows the small business owner to systematically convert suspects to prospects, prospects to clients and clients to raving fans. I initially created this as a way to stay connected to my database. Some of those folks loved the system and asked that I make it available to them. So it really was a side benefit that led to the online component.

3. What niche are you in?

This system is perfect for the SOHO (small office/home office market) and for service professionals such as financial planners, graphic designers, realtors, etc.

4. Why did you choose this particular niche?

I had many people in my bricks and mortar business that fell in this category. Plus I understand their mindset since I’m a small business owner myself.

5. What are your links? (Websites, social media, etc)

http://www.quoteactions.com
http://www.linkedin.com/in/rickitzkowich

6. What are your current top 5 marketing methods used to gain traffic to your site? (Rank 1-5)

1- I have created several Strategic Alliances with companies that cater to my target audience: BNI, Referral Institute, The National Networker
2-Twitter
3- Using my eBook to drive traffic
4- Blogging
5-Podcasts

7. How do you balance “life” and business while running your online business?

I find it easy to do. People who complain about balance usually have problems making choices. They become overwhelmed and therefore they

end up feeling “imbalanced.” I’m pretty clear about my personal Mission and my Core Values and I’m good at making choices that support this. Therefore I very seldom feel out of balance. In my opinion balance has very little to do with time. It is mostly a matter of taking responsibility and making choices.

8. What ONE thing you’ve learned about Online Marketing has helped you to achieve the succcess that you’ve achieved?

That online marketing is all about relationships. If you think this way and execute, you will probably be successful.

9. If you could meet up with a “guru” who would it be and why?

Seth Godin. I love the way he thinks and how he challenges the status quo. He embodies the definition of “out of the box” thinker and I love that.

You can easily make funny video websites, and then profit from them nicely. Many people have done it and are actually making their living off it. Here’s how to make funny video websites and make money at it:

1. Getting a site.

The first thing to making a funny video website is choosing a good name. Have some fun trying to think up catchy names for your website. A catchy, unique and memorable name is key to not only getting traffic but maintaining traffic.

2. Getting the videos.

You can easily lift videos from other popular video sites. But there are also sites that allow you access to many of the popular funny videos which you can use. Many sites share with one another videos as well. So getting the videos to supply for your funny video website is relative easy.

3. Making the Money.

Making money off your site is going to consist of different forms income streams. From click on ad’s, banner advertising, and actual products which you can sell on your site and receive heavy commissions from.

Start up accounts at Google and yahoo for click on ad’s, and find internet products which will coincide with the type of videos you’ll be showing. Many internet products will have programs for webmasters which you can sign up for and immediately start promoting products on your site. Once your site develops traffic, you can start to hit up larger business’s for banner ad’s which can pay very well. The combination of different income streams will bring in a steady income flow as long as your traffic is ramped up.

4. Putting your site together.

There are specific programs you can get for building sites. They will take the headache of “coding” away, and have you setting up your site quickly and fairly easily. A good “make video website” book or manual will show you exactly what needs to be done and provide inside access to sources which can make things thousands of times easier.

Click Here to check Out PPC Kahuna for Yourself!

I’m going through learning how to use PPC in my affiliate business. I’ve put it off until now because I found out that it’s not as easy as some say it is, and that it takes a lot of money to get it started, or so I thought.

You’re so inundated with all of the products that you hear about that can make you rich by making money online. If they’re all true, then why aren’t we all rich?

Good question. There are many ways to make money online, and there should be enough to go around for everyone. Why, then are only some affiliates succeeding while others are failing?

Because the ones who succeed are remaining focused. As affiliate marketers who are trying to make money online, you need to remember at all times what you’re trying to accomplish. Those who are struggling to make money have lost their focus, and have become distracted from the core of their online business plan.

There are many ways to make money online; try them all at once and you’re guaranteed to fail.

In short, you can lose sight of your goals. If you’ve decided that the best way to sell your products and earn you money is through PPC advertising, then what are you doing buying software to help you with list building? You’re splitting your focus, and your business is hurting as a result.

If you’ve decided that PPC advertising is the way to go for your online business, then concentrate on that. Learn as much as you can about PPC advertising, buy products to maximize your PPC campaign. Don’t get distracted by all the other forms of advertising out there until you’ve given your PPC advertising campaign the attention it deserves.

The problem that most affiliate marketers encounter when they’re starting out get distracted by the sheer amount of advertising vehicles available to them. List building one day, SEO the next, on to PPC and so forth. They start out trying to understand their niche, get distracted by membership sites, and then that gets put on the back burner when they get this great email about how you can make a mint on Ebay.

All of this discussion begs the question: what is your plan to make money online? Out of all the different methods available, what do you think will work best for you?

If you do decide that PPC advertising is the way to go, then make a commitment to do it was thoroughly as possible. Then, when the next interesting news about a great new product comes your way, you need to stop, and evaluate whether or not it will help you meet the goals that you’ve set for yourself. If it doesn’t, then no matter how interesting it is, walk away, because it will just distract you from your goals.

So How Does PPC Kahuna Come Into All of This?

Once you’ve decided what your goals are, and if you’ve decided that PPC advertising is the way to go, then you need to find tools to help accomplish that goal. And PPC Kahuna has a whole offering of tools to make your PPC advertising turn clicks in to money for you.

PPC Kahuna has all of the resources to take you through the ins and outs of PPC advertising. It helps you get started by finding your niche, picking your products, and setting up your sites. Then you’ll also have access to the resources you need to market to your niche, develop your PPC campaign, and how to manage that campaign once it starts.

And once you’re established online and making money, PPC Kahuna can show you how to maximize your campaigns to increase your profit even more.

PPC Kahuna is unlike anything else available. It is an easy and comprehensive system that anyone can use. It is about making real money online.

PPC Kahuna provides you with the tools and resourced you need to make money online. All you need to do is stay focused, and only spend time on things that will help you accomplish your goals.

I strongly urge you to check out I strongly urge you to check out PPC Kahuna for yourself.

I graduated from Radford University in Virginia in May with a degree in Business Management and Media Studies. I’ve had the entrepreneur bug since the age of 10 and now as a 22 year old in the “corporate world” I’m ready to launch my business full time and work for myself. Building websites and starting online businesses are what I am working to grow.

2. What made you decide to work online?

The opportunity to reach so many people and work in so many areas was of real interest to me. Also, the low barriers to entry, the low start up costs, and just all around access to everything and anything. Building websites and making money while sleeping is attractive to everyone, right?

3. What niche are you in?

I’m currently building sites in a few different niches, but my main ventures are focused on student entrepreneurs and youth entrepreneurship as well as the outdoor recreation industry (camping, backpacking, rock climbing, etc). I’ve also put my feet into the celebrity arena as well.

4. Why did you choose this particular niche?

I wanted to be in a niche or multiple areas that I was passionate about, believed in, have experience in, and could relate to. I’m not really a celebrity but I am a young entrepreneur and an outdoorsman, so those two were natural fits. If you are going to be working online, you really do need to focus on a niche that you can continue to build in every day and won’t get tired of - those two fit the bill for me.

If you’d like to be part of this series then please use the contact page and get in touch with me. I’d love to interview you as well.

For today I want you to meet Gayle!

Tonya: Tell me a little about yourself…

Gayle: My name is Gayle Etcheverry, I am an artist and a peace enthusiast. I love to paint and I love to promote goodness in the world. Now, I have bridged the gap between the two with my websites www.GodBlessHumanity.com & www.GaylesPaintings.com. Since I was a child and even today, I have always been a creative, upbeat, positive person and full of love and emotion for life. I am married, have an Australian Shepherd named Lucy and live in Los Angeles, California.

Tonya: What made you decide to work online?

Gayle: Working as an artist comes natural to me. I knew I wanted to be an artist when I was 5 years old. It just took me many years to believe I actually COULD become a working PAID artist. I decided to get into web businesses just 2 years ago. I started two websites at the same time. One was to promote and sell my art work, the other was to promote goodness in the world. GodBlessHumanity.com is just about to print and promote its first published book written by several different authors. After that we will develop many other products to sell on the site. I do promote my artwork through both websites. I’ve learned that my passion for art has inspired MANY other people to follow their passions and begin to live a life with joy and peace (just by default when they do what they love even if it is just a hobby). So in essence, my art is also helping to promote goodness in the world. So – the gap between the two worlds is slowly closing in. I guess the reason I decided to work online was because I enjoyed the interaction between people from all over the world, loved that I made all of the decisions and I could work any hour of the day. I use a laptop so I can be anywhere with a wireless internet connection and voila, I’m working!

Tonya: What niche are you in?

Gayle: My niche is in the world of networking. I network with people everyday from all over the world. Various backgrounds, different locations – it doesn’t matter where or who. I just love helping make connections for others. I do this with both of my websites and through my art.

Tonya: Why did you choose this particular niche?

Gayle: Could I say it found me? Since I was young I’ve been a talker and a net worker and an artist. It couldn’t be painted any better for me. I LOVE what I do.

Tonya: What are your links? (Websites, social media, etc)

Tonya: What are your current top 5 marketing methods used to gain traffic to your site? (Rank 1-5)

Tonya: If you could meet up with a “guru” who would it be and why?

Gayle: Bob Proctor. He is a genius when it comes to creative ideas for business, sales and internet marketing. Plus he’s fun. I think he’d be a blast to hang out with.

Tonya: Thank you Gayle for an awesome interview!

You can see from this interview that Gayle has taken her passion and turned it into a business online. This is what most people fail to understand, you have to work within your passion in order to really succeed. There are those of you who are stuck in jobs that you hate, in industries that you hate, so you decide to work on the internet.

Why choose niches that you are not happy with?

Why try to promote products that you don’t believe in?

Try to promote products that make your heart sing! Even if you have to create those products yourself, the time it takes to create something you can stand behind is minimal to the years you can spend forcing yourself to promote products that you don’t believe in.

Your business will fail if you don’t choose the right path to follow. Follow your heart and the rest will be easy!

“What Really Makes You Tick?”

In the buffet of life there are so many choices, that sometimes it’s hard to make a final decision on what you really want.

But to truly succeed in your life you must make choices, wise choices for the benefit of your future.

10 questions you should ask to yourself:

I often see myself as somewhat contented with my life the way things are, but of course it’s hard to think of anything else when there are real issues to be discussed.

Still I aspire for something deeper and more meaningful. Something that makes my heart sing… something besides what I’ve been doing, over and over again.

We’re all pelted with problems, and honestly it shouldn’t even bother or even hinder us to become all we ought to be. Aspirations should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks… or can they?

In my search for WHAT?! I have found these questions are the “fundamental” elements of most self improvement programs and want to share them with you, and allow you to ask yourself these same questions…

1. What do I really want?
The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.

Find something that you are good at can help realize that small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.

2. Should I really change?

Today’s generation has taken another level of redefining ’self’. Are you ready to change yourself to expand your business and lifestyle?

3. What’s the bright side in all of this?
With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. And if it’s a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!

4. Am I comfortable with what I’m doing?
There’s always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn’t take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we’ll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented. I was reading an old Jimmy D. Brown post on one of his sites that was telling about the chance of you being you. It was some outrageous number that Scientists had researched and it was something like 130 Gazillion to 1 chance of YOU existing at all. SO, YOU my friend are unique… do what makes your heart sing!

5. Have I done enough for myself?
Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you’ll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing. As a mom I have really had to watch the effect of not spending any time on myself. I noticed that when I spent all my time doing for others and not for myself that I became frustrated, angry and grouchy. So I make it a point to spend at least 1 hour per day on myself and ONLY me… something to think about!

6. Am I happy at where I am today?
It’s an unfair question so let it be an answer! You love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, then take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes with everyday life, your business, or whatever else you are doing!

7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?
So maybe I don’t have an answer to that, but that doesn’t mean I can’t try it, though. Whether you shape-up, change the way you wear your clothes or hair, or even your attitude towards people, you should always remember it will always be for your own benefit. I didn’t realize the true impact that this has on your self image. I thought.. well why bother to look good…. I’m married already why does it matter? I work at home who’s gonna know if I’m wearing my PJs or a dressy outfit. YOU DO.. and when you don’t look good you don’t present yourself as positively as you do when you are “dressed to the nines”. Try it and see how you and your business change!

8. How much could I have?
I suppose in this case there is no such thing as having too much or too little, but it’s more on how badly you really need it. I’d like to have lots of money, no denying that, but the question is, how much are you willing to work for it?

9. What motivates me?
What motivates you? It’s an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one may be the hardest part. It’s not like you can’t have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that’s it. Just try it piece by piece.

10. What Really Makes You Tick?
So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that may be difficult is part of the learning experiences of your life. Don’t give up because something may be hard, before you even embark on the journey set before you.

I hope my personal musings have been insightful and help you in your journey of self recognition and improvement.

Have a blessed day and always remember “Shoot for the Moon, even if you miss your target you’ll still land within the stars!”
