Celebrate All Things Spacey on April 12

Celebrate space on April 12th.On April 12, 1961, Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin made history when he climbed inside a bell-shaped capsule christened "Vostok 1" and became the first human to travel to space. Our Russian cosmonaut training adventures take place inside the astronaut training center named in his honor.

On April 12, 1981, twenty years later, NASA made history by launching the first space shuttle. And, a group of young space enthusiasts picked April 12, 2001 to launch Yuri's Night.

The fun annual event is described as a "global celebration of humanity's past, present and future in space". Yuri's Night events combine space-themed parties with education and outreach.

Cross Some Big Mountains

Our resident balloon stunt pilot Steiger has a thing for big mountains. He recently returned from Austria, where he spent time flying over the Alps. He's currently offering flights over the Rocky Mountains along with his spectacular Zion National Park crossings and this summer, he'll be heading to Chile to make a series of Andes expeditions.

Covert Ops Counter Terrorism Adventure Coming Up in May

Our next four-day Covert Ops Counter Terrorism Adventure is set for May 10-13 near Miami. The adrenaline-packed training itinerary includes pistol shooting, handcuffing procedures, martial arts, combat first aid and more.

Instructor Garret Machine is a former soldier in the Israeli Special Forces. He was assigned to their elite Duvdevan unit, which is considered the equivalent to the US Army's Delta Force.

The $3995 price includes expert training, use of equipment, lodging and most meals. Air travel to and from Ft Lauderdale/Miami is not included. Women are welcome and no prior gun or military training is required.

Completion of the Covert Ops Adventure qualifies US citizens for a concealed weapons permit.
