House Beautiful is a well known interior decorating magazine known for its decorating tips and elegant style. We at Au have been long time fans of the publication and it is very cool to be listed in it’s pages. Our 18% tote is listed in ‘The Best’ section of the magazine which is a listing of specialty picked items by the editors for all types of items.

The 18% Collection - Stylish AND Earth Friendly

The 18% collection has been a great addition to our lines. 18% of each bag that we make at Au ends up as scrap. Some see this as just waste but we saw an opportunity. We took all of those “scraps” and made unique one-of-a-kind open totes, zipped totes and toiletry bags. The bags are colorful, fun and you never have to worry about someone having the same bag as you. Just think, not only are you making a stylish decision but an Earth friendly one as well.

18 percent collectionWith the new site comes the online option to buy our new 18% collection. A fun creative new line with one-of-a-kind items just for you. 18% of our fabrics end up as scrap. As we all know, scrap ends up in our landfills. Here at Au we knew there was a better solution. We are using that once wasted material to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Now your purchases won’t just be stylish but environmentally conscious as well!

We took our Raincoat cotton and came up with a new line call At The Beach. I bet you can figure out what we think they are best for! Now you have the option to buy the At the Beach collection online too!
