Amazing. The lift worked over the Christmas weekend. They even came and worked on it on Wednesday. Lets just hope it lasts until the New Year.

lets hope the lift does not break down again during the next few days. It is showing all the usual signs of door not opening properly.

I am sure I am not the only person upset by the idea we all have to stay in all day so the intercom can finally be fixed, but the fixing does not happen and we are told we have to take yet more days off work…..

Tried to have friends visit this weekend. They had to phone me to get in as the intercom does not work. This involved walking down and up 6 storeys as the lift was not working- as usual. We tried to get a carry-out but obviously could not get it delivered as they would not phone and/or wait while we came down 6 storeys. Minor problems compared to the big ones, but sadly indicative of how difficult it is to live in these flats. Not exactly high quality living!
