My shrinking story

Dear Diary,

You won't believe what happened to me today!

In the MUGA(A place in my school where you can play football & basket or gymnastics etc,etc,etc), me & my class were playing Dodgeball for P.E, but I was thirsty so I got my water bottle & drank some water...

My body started to shrink... I shrieked but my shriek was a squeak. My actual body was shrinking! I was horrified, terrified, petrified!

I ran to the MUGA but as soon as I was a meter away the noise of bouncing balls was resounding! My eardrums were even ringing ! My body made my run as fast as I could to the first bench I saw. As soon as I reached the bench, I tried to vault onto it but I only vaulted 5cm. Because I couldn't vault onto the bench, I climbed up a leg of it then bounded through a hole in it. Suddenly, I saw an enormous, hairy spider .All of a sudden, my legs made me run to the end of to the end of the bench. The I saw a bee so I leapt onto it.

The bee twisted & turned whilst I held its Yellow, Black hair. Meanwhile a squally wind struck my face nastily. Suddenly, I felt something coming up. I started to feel giddy.

Finally, the annoying bee stopped with a sudden jerk in the middle of the forest school area. After that, I found three leaves one for a bed, one for a blanket and one for a pillow. Then I lay down & started to think Will I ever become my normal size?

Will I ever get back home?

Day 1 - My Arrival

I begin my life with a thanks to the Almight God for bringing me into this world. It was a great experience of 8 months inside my mother's womb with life being really smooth and fun but somehow I could not resist being there for another one month. I was really excited to be amongst you and made the exit.

I am thankful to Appa & Mummy for the love and care they have been giving me during those 8 months and delirious for whats waiting for me.

On the 9th of May, 2009 @ 23:41 I slid out into the safe hands of Mary (mid-wife) covered in blood. Mary disconnected me from Mamma by cutting the umbilical cord, with Appa & Granny watching me with all excitement. I stretched out, the blinding light making me a bit uncomfortable. But the next moment the soft cuddle made all the discomfort vanish when Mary handed me over to Mamma for Skin-to-Skin. Mamma & I shared a great feeling and the bond between us took another dimension. I could feel how tired she was but there are no words to describe the moment & the emotion. Mary cleaned me and moments later I was dressed up like a prince charming and in the arms of Appa. I tell you, it was great!!

Next was Granny in line to wrap me up in her arms and her heart was filled with joy. Anurag Uncle, Shashvat Uncle, Nilesh Uncle, Trupti Aunty & Monali Aunty were all waiting to have a glimpse of me, fatigued after a long day. Unfortunately the hospital did not allow them into the labour ward and all they got to see were my pictures Appa had caught on the camera. Appa headed home for more clothes of mine and broke the news with Appacha & Kristene Mummy.

On10th May, 2009 by 04:00 the good news of my arrival was spread to all my relatives. Soon Appa & Granny had to leave the hospital as they were not allowed to stay with us.

Thanks once again to the Almighty God and looking for future ahead...
