Seduction is, of course, one of the most important aspects of stories about Succubi. Without the tease, the temptation, the lust and desire that comes from seduction, there’s something missing. Similarly, many a story delves into the themes of dominance and submission, but don’t quite understand what that means. A review then of a work where the author gave the proper consideration to such things, but it could have been so much more given the time.

Title: Feeding My Succubus

Author: Eva Fox

Published By: Smashwords

Length: 13 Pages

Format: eBook

IBSN: None

Publishing Date: April 8, 2025

This work in Various Formats at Smashwords.com

The work tells of:

One drunken ritual. One whispered Latin chant. One life-devouring mistake.

Ryan never expected the succubus summoning to work—but Lilithea appeared in the flesh: beautiful, powerful, and starving. Bound by blood and lust, she feeds on his pleasure, tormenting him with public orgasms and mind-breaking oral worship. She uses him whenever—and wherever—she wants. And with every intense, draining climax, Ryan grows weaker.

At first, he’s her toy. Then her addiction. Then her pet.

But Lilithea is more than a monster. She’s seductive, cunning, and… changing. Beneath her hunger, Ryan begins to sense something deeper. Something dangerous.

If he can survive her appetite long enough, he might uncover a way to break—or remake—the bond. But if he fails, he’ll be drained dry… body, mind, and soul.

When one is drunk, one should never do unwise things. A summoning that never should have been, a succubus who controls and dominates isn’t what Ryan ever thought of. As for Lilithea, mortals are there to be played with, perhaps made to be a toy. Sometimes what you think will happen is just one step on the way to what does.

The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, erotic hot flash focused on succubus domination, seduction and mutual need. It’s quite fast paced, the story does not pause between moments and overall that does work, if feeling a bit too much in a rush to get to the last page.

The heat in the erotica is delightful, the characters have depth, and there is quite a bit of world building on the edges of the story to keep things interesting. There are a few points where the domination aspects come very close to being too over the top, but that manages to be avoided for the sake of holding onto the heat and how the relationship between the main characters unfolds.

Lilithea, the succubus of the story, isn’t exactly evil, though there are hints of a side of her that doesn’t quite come out. That’s for the better really as her being a sedcutress, tempting and teasing for Ryan to fall to her wiles is a much better story for it. She is very dominant of course, but that’s wrapped in a form of pleasure that gives a tone to the story, and to Lilithea that I liked very much.

Three and a half out of five pitchforks.

The story closes in a place that feels right for the main characters and offers a place for them if another work was going to appear. However the rushing to the climax of the story didn’t seem right with all that had come before, the time taken to get to the place where the characters found themselves. As well written as this story is, as much has the story is a delight, this honestly needed at least another ten pages to tie up a lot of loose ends. I’d even say this entire work needs to be transformed into a full length novel because there is so much depth and story to tell that it just didn’t quite fit into what was allowed and that’s a shame.

I have never listened to this particular music genre, power thrash metal, and really this is something of an eye opening experience for me. I tend to listen to more sensual instrumental works, it’s part of my nature and personalty after all. But there are more darker, more deeply so, aspects of succubi and in that comes some interesting things that this album brought me to think about. It is an emotional tone, a specific feeling, that comes from these works which set a tone in my thoughts about those of the succubi who are darkness incarcerated in a form of seductiveness and the fall they bring to others.

The album cover is interesting as it offers a bit of a glimpse of the music to be revealed. There is a certain feeling of temptation and seduction and yet at the same time the figures surrounding the succubus are the dark fate awaiting the unwary and unwise and I think it works really well in that. The cover is. perhaps, a little bit dark, perhaps a bit of a lighter tone to the main focus might have been interesting or perhaps a little more horns to be seen to just push the album title a little more could be a thought. Still as things are I think that this works well and it’s that eye catching nature that interested me.

What follows are a series of short thoughts about each of the tracks on the album and then an overall consideration of it and some closing thoughts. I will note that there is a theme in the music titles and within those titles are musical notes that I found interesting to reflect on while listening…

Succubus – The opening track and album title – The music begins with a crash, a resonant beat and a drum focus that was a surprise. Falling into a guitar overlay was an interesting change and works quite well with the drum beats. The vocals that enter have a telling harshness to them, to tell a story of the dark of succubi and what they are. That, honestly, unfolded perhaps in a bit of a rush, but the beat brings that urgency to the vocals, almost as if the singer is trying to escape the succubus herself. It felt like there was a bit of hesitation in the middle, the beat seems to awkwardly pause for a moment, to gather itself, and then press onwards. Perhaps a bit of foreshadowing, what awaits the one being taken by the succubus and that is an interesting thought. As the vocals return and the story continues, the fall and fate comes into focus, and I wondered about what this would look like in a series of flashbacks and forwards in a music video. The ensnaring, the taking and the devouring, are there in the music and it would be interesting to see that. The closing beats are perhaps a little abrupt, I wonder about a fade out rather than what is. More to allow for a bit of artistic license perhaps in a dark female gloating laugh which would work really well.

Lilith – Similarly to the first track, the music crashes into existence with drum beats and passion. It’s not quite the same tone as the first track, but there are hints of the two being connected, which the titles would suggest. When the vocals come in, it feels like there’s an undercurrent of pain which was a surprising thing. As the vocals tell their story, and parts of Lilith’s mythos are told, I thought there was a bit of longing and need in the words. At times some of the vocals were on the edge of being drowned out, a little hard to understand clearly here and there. Still, the tonal aspects kept the passions alive which was really well done. The interlude in the middle of this track seemed to be more gathered and to the point compared to the first, it followed better and held the passions of the moment more. The closing beats and vocals are a delight, and much like the first track, it closes a bit abruptly for me. Again I can’t help but think of a dark laugh at the close fading to silence…

Asmodeus – Track three turns towards what I think of as the incubi, and with that expectation the track begins with a dominant beat and purpose. A little more harsh than the preceding tracks, but the tone feels right from the start. That domination comes through in the vocals and the beat itself. It’s more corruption and taking of the other, rather than a seduction. That’s an interesting choice and as the track played with the slightly different beats, I wondered about the connections to the prior tracks and there seems to be one here and there. The track doesn’t stumble or feel like it is seeking itself, there’s a driving point that never seems to leave the vocals or beat here. The closing is, just like the prior tracks a bit abrupt, but it works here better for a reason I can’t quite say.

Maldoror – Once more the track begins with a crashing beat, but there’s little time before the vocals come into play. I think that works well here, there is a lot of vocals to carry the song and it’s quite a telling story. The instrument pauses seem to be less and that seems to work well. The pause that comes in the middle does not allow the drums to fall, and the music pressed on with passions that are really amazing. The closing is a bit abrupt once more, but here it seems to make sense.

Blood – The opening is rather abrupt, but then the vocals come into play almost immediately which was a surprise. The beat is harsh and pointed, much like the vocals are, the two coming together well. With the power of the drums it feels like the vocals are pushed to their limits to be heard and it’s quite a contrast. The lyrics are, perhaps, a bit more vampiric than demonic, but it tells a story that works well. The beat turns a little bit like a pulse rate here and there, and when the close comes it is quite the shift before the abrupt ending.

Nine Circles of Hell – The drums appear to open the track with the same force as in the prior tracks. A bit of a pause before the vocals, they pop really well with the instruments here. The story being told, a passage through the circles, was rather unexpected really. There is passion and demand to the vocals and I wondered what a track for each cycle might be like. A real tonal shift for each perhaps to reflect them. The bridge presses on really well and the vocals have that passion through to the last beat.

Seven Demon’s – i wonder about the opening, more in an artistic way really. It connects with the openings of the other tracks of course, but perhaps a little shift in beat might be a thought. The vocals come in quickly and the lyrics are interesting in their passions. The lyrics and background music fit well and there is more of a melding of them here than the prior tracks. The interesting thing here is that the beat doesn’t lose its way, the lyrics fall into them well and, again, save for the abrupt close it’s really well done.

To Mega Therion – This track has the tonal shift in the beginning I was wondering about. It fits with the balance of the album. but it’s more given to being a pulling force to the listener. The vocals come in and they fit well over the background. Again, an interesting story which gave something unexpected. Overall quite well done, and honestly the fade out ending surprised me and works really well.

Armageddon – The drums come in, the music rises and then the vocals slide in. It’s a bit different again to the balance of the album, perhaps a little strained here and there, but that seems to be the lyrics and music not quite being synched together. It almost feels like the music and lyrics are intending to fall apart by the close and that carried with me to the end. The close wasn’t quite what I expected, the bridge is passionate and I liked that quite a lot. But still the ending seemed to be missing something and I’m not sure what that is.

Tormentor – A bit of a different sort of opening, a little bit different tone which was attention grabbing. A bit longer until the vocals and I wondered what this might be like as an instrumental only. With that said, the vocals are clearer and more wide a sound than the prior tracks. The passions being song get past the instruments here. The bridges carry well, there’s no real distortion to be heard. The lyrics are telling, not in a telling of pain, but the way the singer pushed the emotions of the moment out to the close.

Master of Pain – The final track opens with the expected drums and instruments to set the mood which works well for the vocals to come in. The lyrics tell a story that felt dark, but that works well here. There’s no stumble in the music, no feeling of disconnecting lyrics and music. It does leave me reflective over this track and the album as a whole however, which feels right in what is offered here.

As my first introduction to power thrash metal, this was really more than I had expected overall. There is a hint of a common theme, a common beat, a feeling of a story in chapters being told and I liked that quite a lot. I do wonder if the opening moments feel a bit too similar than they need to be. I wonder about some flourishes that might have added a bit more of a darker tone, a little more seductive teasing to the listener. With that said, it is quite the unique album for me to consider and think about.

Four out of five pitchforks.

As an album with a succubus aspect to it, this is quite an unexpected find to add to my collection of music. I wonder about an album that is only about the well known succubi, beyond Lilith herself, and what that might be like. The idea of battling male and female vocals over the crashing beat somehow intrigues me… much like this album…

My thanks to Malon Mischief for reaching out and bringing to my attention this work, it’s truly something that I might never have found otherwise…

A review this time on the Tale of the first work in the Satan’s Girls series by Raven and Cole Sinclair. It’s something of an odd beginning overall, the story tries to find itself and here and there are moments that suggest that it will. At the same time there are so many questions left in the wake of the telling that I wonder where things will go and how they will get there.

Title: I Summoned a Demon Lover

Authors: Raven Sinclair & Cole Sinclair

Published By: Amazon Digital Services

Length: 44 Pages

Format: eBook

ASIN: B0FH6XNKZN

Publishing Date: July 9, 2025

This work in Kindle Format at Amazon.com

The work tells of:

Three girls. One demon. A summer of sex, sin, and supernatural hunger.

It’s 1984, and 19-year-old Stephanie is stuck in her trailer, ghosted by her college-bound friends and simmering with secret desires she can’t name. Then a mysterious invitation arrives. Her wild Aunt Margo offers a summer at a secluded lake house with just one rule for Stephanie and her friends: explore everything.

A Ouija board, a few “muscle massagers,” a chanted rite, and the girls summon something unholy.

His name is Nathaniel. Red-skinned. Winged. Hung like a nightmare. At first, he doesn’t talk. He listens. Watches. Learns. And his tongue? Not of this world.

Now Stephanie’s caught in a heat she never expected, tangled between her best friends and a demon who takes what he wants… …and what he wants is her.

Stephanie amd her friends thought they were playing with the unknown, but it turns out that they were playing with fire. A summoning that wasn’t meant to be brings Nathaniel, the power and mystery he is, and the truths within each of them to be revealed.

The work is a mixture of fantasy with something of a coming of age story centred on a group of friends and the mysterious, seemingly incubus, they call into existence. The plot is somewhat convoluted, the characters are dearly complex, lost, and overall there’s a very strong feeling of angst amongst all of them.

While there are some hints of erotica, the story is less about that aspect than it is about the relationships, trying to understand, and the conflict that comes between the characters. At times perhaps a little over the top in the conflict, there’s a deeply felt tone that doesn’t leave from the first moment and by the end leaves so many questions that really need to be answered in the next part of the series.

Nathaniel, who by how he is descried and what comes from the thoughts and desires of the women in the story, can be described as an incubus. But that’s not to say he is evil by any means, there’s nothing in what he does or acts that suggests it. There is a very strong feeling of him being newly coming to existence and that becomes something core to the story as it unfolds. He is very much bound to the desires and wills around him and what that may mean as the series progresses is somethaing I wonder about.

Two and a half out of five pitchforks.

The story feels like it is so very lost and unsure of where it wants to go, of what to say really. It is a starting point with interesting characters and story to tell, but it just feels that where things started to where they ended up there is a gap. Perhaps the real question here is what happens to Nathaniel through the will of the woman in the story and if that leads to more than just impending sex alone.

Dearly love the pose, the setting, and of course what she is wearing. It’s a bit of a shame I will admit with the look of her horns, and she does really need a tail tu be all the naughty she can be. But this brings me a smile, fond memories and, of course, a delighted smile…

On occasion there is an effort made when it comes to designing a costume that is even a little devilish. There’s just a bit of a hint which offers something more than the trashy things one has come to expect.

This is the Gothic Vintage Succubus Style Dress and it comes with the dress and the wings, which can be detached, and the horns. It sells for about $75 US and overall I don’t think that is particularly outrageous.

I don’t really care for the horns, a bit too large for me at least. But the wings are not that had and the dress has possibilities as well. It’s not perfect by any means of course, but this is better than most really.

Three out of five pitchforks.

It’s a something, which is something, and that’s quite a surprise really…

The work tells of:

Five dark, delicious tales of monsters, alphas, and the women who want them

This bundle serves five hot stories where danger smells like lust and surrender is its own reward. Inside you’ll find alpha domination, ancient guardians, demon bargains, campus wolves, and a naga who doesn’t do second chances, each story built for late nights and bad decisions.

The Alpha’s Playground – A secret nightclub where shifters rule the dark, and one curious woman is chosen by the Alpha himself. He’s been waiting for her scent.
Mouth of the Mountain – She fell through the earth and woke something ancient. His hands are stone, his tongue molten heat, and he does not ask twice.
Werewolf – A star quarterback with a dangerous secret. A nerdy girl who smells like trouble. In the quiet corners of the library, his wolf finds the mate he can’t ignore.
The Gentleman’s Familiar – A desperate lord summons a demoness in maid’s clothing. She’ll obey every word he commands but only if he dares to master her.
Rescued by the Naga – Stranded in the wild, a novice maid stumbles into the coils of a powerful naga. He offers her safety, possession, and pleasure she can’t escape.

To make a deal requires two to play. One to offer the deal, the other to accept it. But when dealing with a succubus for what one desires, you may discover that the desire goes both ways.

The work is a very well written story of temptation, deals, domination, control and, in the end, a kind of coming to understanding of one’s own needs and desires. It’s very atmospheric, the two characters Sebastian and Nereza dance around each other’s wills and needs, the two blending over time and the truth between them coming out fully by the close.

The erotica is so very sensual, it isn’t in a rush or seeking fulfilment in a heartbeat. There’s a playfulness in the time taken, the lessons taught and the development of their relationship. More than anything else, it is the seduction, slowly cast and relished in that bright the most delight.

Nereza, the succubus of the work, is never called a succubus, but really her voice, the dialogue, her appearance, the taunting hints given in the narrative all set her very much to be one. She is a seductress and a very very talented one at that. There is a hint of danger around her, perhaps a little spark of evil, but that fades again her sensuality. She is, quite simply, a delicious temptation and I adored her to no end.

Four out of five pitchforks.

This is truly an amazing piece of writing and honestly needs to be a book on its own to expand the story and tell more about both of the main characters. There are so many aspects of Nereza to explore, to see things from her perspective would be something fascinating as well.

For the collection as a whole, three and a half out of five pitchforks.

It’s a very good read, the time and effort taken is very clear nd makes the stories be more than just the erotica alone. But as they are relatively short, there’s bits and pieces that are touched on but not explored. Really all of the works needed to be perhaps another four to seven pages longer to give the stories more room to breathe.

And what about all of the multimode of tails from that point in time who are as I know them in the here and now? I find, in the midst of all of that, it is good to have friends, even . . .

If Only For A Little While
By TeraS

Memories make themselves known at times when we never expect them. A moment will bring a whisper of one, something which we have forgotten about which now finds this is the moment to be foremost in our thoughts. Sometimes those memories bring with them laughter, sometimes tears, and sometimes . . . regrets.

The room had fallen silent as two succubi–one a pink tail, the other her red-tailed queen–danced around a question that one needed the answer for and the other found herself bound to never explain.

Deborah held Tera’s hands and saw the Queen of the here and now, and the echos of the Queen of the past she once knew. They weren’t the same of course, blonde versus raven-maned, piercing blue eyes against so-green ones. But the colour of their horns and tails were exactly the same: fiery red, marking their love, their passion and, most telling of all, their strength of will. A stray thought captured Deborah’s thoughts and the past came calling for a time . . .

There were very few tails not of the Royal Court who were called into the presence of the Queen; it simply was against protocol and the Realm at large accepted that. Tradition was, after all, written into their world, and proper deference was to be made. She was the Queen. None spoke her true name; it just wasn’t done. She was the Queen and that was all that mattered. But this Queen, one with blonde hair in a formal updo, wearing a red corset and wide billowing dress upon red heels of stature, was plotting. Her tail was a clear sign of that, and few could miss it.

The problem was that no one was clear on what their blonde Queen was planning, and few wanted to meet her ire by asking what she had in mind–or tail, for that matter. She was a stubborn red-tail and there were none in her Court that ignored her will when it was brought to bear upon them, not even the Queen’s sister.

The Queen’s office of the past wasn’t quite the same as it was to become. Far more formal, far more a display of royal might and power rather than the intimate reflection of a future ebon-maned red tail. The chair, Deborah found, was uncomfortable and probably meant to be so. It didn’t matter, however, as she held Simone’s hand and watched the two red-tailed sisters, one a Queen, as the moment unfolded.

The Queen was perched upon a regal chair across from them: “Thank you for coming.”

Simone replied, in a thin tone: “You demanded we do.”

Their blonde queen nodded: “The invitation was, perhaps, too forthright.”

Deborah remained silent, Simone’s eyes flickering toward her as she continued: “Why are we here?”

The Queen passed over the pointed question: “I have need of you both, and there is very little time for niceties.”

Deborah had never seen Simone’s tail come up in anger, but it did: “It would be appreciated if the Queen would treat her sister and her love as more than subjects. You do get more with honey than vinegar, after all.”

A smile from the blonde Queen was a rare thing: “I am sorry, Simone.” She turned her attention to Deborah: “I am especially sorry for doing wrong to you.”

A pink-tail managed to whisper: “You just needed to ask.”

The Queen sighed: “The Court sees many things and having the Queen’s sister and love be informally asked to meet with her would send their tails wagging. A formal demand, as harsh as it was, tells that you both might be facing the ire of the Queen and that diverts attention dramatically.”

Simone shook her head: “I have no desire to . . .”

The Queen held up her right hand: “This is not for me, it is for our Realm . . . and for my daughter.”

Deborah whispered: “Are you sure?”

The Queen smiled: “The Realm Doctor says it is so. Florence, his intern, informed me of her findings a fortnight ago.” The Queen’s mood had turned in that moment, reflecting on the joy Goddess had brought: “She will be a handful, so I am told.”

Simone laughed in delight as Deborah giggled. A blonde Queen’s long red tail moved slowly, the tip just visible from beneath the elaborate gown she wore: “Neither of you will tell anyone about this. The Palace will make the announcement at the proper time.”

Deborah signed a bit: “Then why are we here, if not for your daughter?”

The Queen stood and walked across her suite: “You both will be there for her, that is the future. It is the here and now that I . . . ask . . . for your help.”

The wide doors were open to the balcony, and the three succubi where soon standing there together. The Queen’s hands were clasped behind her as she explained: “The Realm is threatened, and I cannot act directly. I require assistance from those I can trust.” Her eyes fell pointedly upon Deborah and Simone: “I trust my sister and her love.”

She turned away, a small black dot on the main carriageway holding her attention. Her eyes narrowed, and the cold tone of their Queen marked the seriousness of the moment: “I do not know who she is, or what she wants, exactly. We are not even sure what sort of tail she is, the evidence suggests one thing, and then another. She is a cypher to be unraveled.”

Far below, a black carriage drawn by even darker horses made its way along the long drive towards the grand entrance of the Palace. Their Queen tilted her head towards it: “She is gathering other tails to oppose what my King and I have considered and believe is best for the Realm . . .” She paused, looked away, then brushed her regal left hand over her curves: “. . . what is best for you tails and what my daughter will make our Realm to be.”

Her blue eyes gazed upon Deborah and Simone: “She is a mystery to us, she holds sway in the court, and it seems her intention is to pull us apart.”

The carriage arrived at the grand entrance below, several incubi rushing to position themselves to assist in the arrival and the Queen returned her gaze as the carriage opened.

A golden heel, a sharp one, was the first hint of the one within. Deborah’s first thought was she was a gold-tail, which was bad enough. The appearance of an ornate silver gown that spilled from the carriage, at least twice the size of their Queen’s, seemed to suggest she was a silver tail. They did flaunt their glamour, after all. It all became more uncertain as fingernails of gold flashed in the light, tanned cleavage spilled from a silver bodice. Her flame red hair, cascading over her form, didn’t make sense either. This usurper, now fully revealed at the beginning of the red carpet that had been rolled out for her, turned to look towards where the Queen stood with her companions.

Deborah’s breath caught. Her tail was a gleaming gold and her horns where blinding silver. A long sceptre was held in her right hand, bound silver and gold with the largest red gemstone she had ever seen at the head. Most troubling of all, one of the succubi was wearing a mask, covering her face, leaving her eyes hidden in darkness behind it, and the only thing visible was a pair of lips, painted gold, and smirking as she looked towards where she knew the Queen would be, and then walked into the Palace proper.

The Queen turned away from the display and brought her attention to bear upon Deborah: “I will not give in to her. But she will not back down. We are being pushed towards a choice, and it will not be good for the Realm, for us, or for her. This is not a question of winning this battle, it is a matter of . . .”

Deborah held Simone’s hand tightly: “You intend to end her.”

The Queen’s eyes did not waver: “If there is no other choice. Banning her delays her. She cares not for negotiation. I will not jeopardize the future for . . . her.”

Deborah felt that shiver run along the length of her pink tail and she was back in the here and now with Tera. She saw the concerned look in so-green eyes and sighed: “I believe you said once that we need to keep our friends close. Sometimes that’s not enough, Tera. Sometimes it’s not close enough.”

Tera cupped her pink tailed friend’s cheek lightly: “It was that bad?”

A pink-tail sighed: “Imagine you trusted someone, they knew all of your secrets and then they turned on you. What could they do? What depths of harm would they set unto motion?”

Deborah was troubled to see Tera nibble her lip: “I am more trusting than anything else. I have said many times that the one thing that I should never say is: ‘You disappointed me.’

A pink-tail touched her Queen’s cheek: “Your mother said that . . . and more.”
