There are some important things to consider when thinking about getting back with your ex. First of all, you need to be in a calm state of mind. How to fix Ubuntu low graphics mode for nvidia users

A lot of times when nvidia users use the restricted drivers they get a message after rebooting stating that Ubuntu has been launched using low graphics mode. This has really frustrated many users that they gave up hope on Ubuntu. I recently installed Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty and when I activated my drivers, I got that annoying message. Luckily, I found a bitter-sweet solution for it.

Boot up Ubuntu
Open the terminal
Type in sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg
Reboot Ubuntu

Hopefully, if everything went smoothly you should now be out of the low graphics mode, though, this does not solve the problem; it is merely a work-around. OpenGL and 3D acceleration is now disabled. To solve the problem, you should post a new thread in the Ubuntu forums since this problem is unique to each individuals computer.

Engineers are definitely one of the best classes in Team Fortress 2 whether its defending a control point, teleporting a friendly teammate, healing teammates, or defending the intelligence. Engineers can be used almost anywhere even if the engineer is on the attacking team; the engineer could built a teleport to get his teammates to attack the opposing team faster.

One of the most common mistakes that I see engineers doing is exposing themselves. Spies can easily backstab and sap the engineer's buildings and get away with it. Another common mistake I see engineers doing is placing their buildings in an unprotected environment where stickybombs and rockets could easily get to their helpless buildings.

How to properly place your buildings

Look for big walls in corners
Surround yourself with your buildings so that you are corned in and can only get out by jumping
Keep your buildings close
When a spy saps your buildings, fix your buildings then kill the spy
If a spy is continuously sapping your buildings then kill the spy and fix your buildings
If there are no corners then build a triangle using your buildings so it would like this:

Things not to do

Don't place your buildings a mile apart. Always keep your buildings close so you can repair them or remove a sap
Never leave your buildings alone

Remember, you have to cover your back so get into a corner or place your buildings so that a spy can't backstab you. Other than that, don't place your buildings out in the wide open as spies can easily destroy them with their revolver since the revolver does maximum damage on buildings no matter how far away.

Here's an easy way to get any song you want for free. It will require stereo mix, however. I have already wrote a guide on how to get stereo mix. With stereo mix enabled, you're well on your way to getting the song that you want for free.

Make sure that stereo mix is enabled
Click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Sound Recorder
Click the record button (the one with the red circle) and wait until its done
Now go to File -> Save and save it to some place you'll remember
Now click Edit -> Insert File and select the file that you just saved
Repeat step 5 until you get the approximate length of the song
Google your songs name or go to imeem and search for your song there
Record your song and save it
Done

Practicing as a tank with bots in single player Left 4 Dead can not only improve your tank controls, but also, will improve your skills of using a tank. As I mentioned on my previous post, a tank can be highly destructive if used properly and the only way to know that you're using a tank properly is by praticing with bots. If you are able to incap all the bots without dying then you're good to go, but if you're having a tough time incapping only one of the survivors then I suggest you start praticing.

Start Left 4 Dead
Make sure console is enabled
Type in mp_gamemode versus; map (map here)
Press M and select the infected team
Open console and type in sv_cheats 1
Wait for the bots to go to a common tank spawn
Now spawn a tank using z_spawn tank

After a successful installation of Windows XP or Vista, users find themselves without a grub menu. For those of you who don't know what the grub menu is, it's the start up screen which allows you to either choose Windows or Linux to boot from. So, how do you recover the grub menu in Ubuntu?

Instructions

Boot Ubuntu from the live CD
Click Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal
Type in the following pressing enter after every line

find /boot/grub/stage1
root (hd#,#) where #,# is your drive and partition
root (hd#) replace # with your drive

Quit the grub editor
Reboot your system

Hopefully, you have recovered the grub menu and are using Ubuntu again.

How to be a good boomer in Left 4 Dead

Boomers stand up to their names when used properly. A lot of times, gamers don't use the boomer wisely or correctly and thus cause little to no damage at all to the survivors. Being a good boomer requires patience and the ability to ambush the survivors in wide-open areas.

The most common mistake Left 4 Dead gamers make when playing as boomers is spawning too early. Not only will the survivors hear you, but you will also have wasted a boomer without any purpose whatsoever. The best thing to do is tell your teammates to attack the survivors. This will cause the survivors to be off guard thus causing a successful vomit imminent.

Another thing to take into consideration is where the survivors are located. If they are located in a small closed area, don't bother vomiting on them at all; they are likely to be in a corner attacking the horde as they come. Instead, vomit on the survivors as they enter a wide open space and have your teammates attack as well. By the time they kill your teammates off, the horde will have done serious damage to them.

Tanks are highly destructive when used properly, but most people think that they can just rush in and kill the survivors one by one. That's true in same cases when the survivors are in a closed area like a warehouse or a building. Using a tank properly will not only kill the survivors, but it will also get your team more points. So, how do you be a good tank in left 4 dead?

Strategy is all it takes for you to become a good tank. First and foremost, if the survivors are carrying molotovs with them, then run in and try your best to dodge the molotov. A good example would be running back and forth, that way they can't get an accurate shot. While your waiting for the fire to burn out, pick up a piece of the ground and throw it at them. Keep doing this until the fire has burned out then attack them.

If you are in a wide open space, the best thing to do is punch objects that are big like cars or logs. Not only will you incapacitate them in one blow, but you will also gain as much as 5000 points for one incapicitation.

Issues
Sometimes, a user adjusts the volume of the stereo mix too high which in turn causes terrible quality to be played back. What you have to take into consideration is that Stereo Mix records the sound fully. What I mean by this is that like your speakers which have volume adjustment, they playback the sound fully. If you crank up the volume too high on your speakers, you are not going to get good quality played back, but if you set it to appropirate amount, then it should play back good quality.

I had to learn that the hard way when a virus struck my computer and my anti-virus could do nothing about it therefore I had no choice, but to format my computer. Open FireFox
Look at the top menu bar where it says File, Edit, View, etc..

Click Import and Backup (Located at the top)
Click Export HTML
Save your file to a known place
If you don't have a USB drive, then send it to your e-mail

How to fix Bx Errors in Blogger

When uploading a template to Blogger, many users find them selves with annoying Bx Errors that can both be frustrating and tiring to figure out. But, lucky for you noobs, I am here to show you how to fix those Bx Errors in Blogger. The cause for the error is not known to me, but I do know of the solution.

Solution

Backup your widgets in the template layout
Delete the widgets from the template layout
Reset the widgets to the default in Edit HTML
Download a different browser such as Opera, Chrome, or FireFox
Open the web browser you just downloaded
Go to Blogger and upload the template

This is what I do and to be honest, it has never failed me. I have FireFox, Chrome, Opera and Internet Explorer installed on my computer so when one of the browsers fails to upload the template, I can just open the other one and try again.

Sometimes, the method will fail if you have logged into Blogger on all of the browsers. What you have to do is clear or delete the private data such as the cache and the cookies. What I recommend is downloading CCleaner and analyzing and deleting the data. Not only does this delete the private data in the browsers, but it also deletes other useless memory consuming files that slow down your computer.

I hope this fixes those pesky errors in Blogger.

How to make Gimp run in one Window on Ubuntu

When I first started Gimp in Ubuntu, I thought the program had not yet loaded because the toolbars and forms were scattered all over the place so I decided to wait 5 minutes for the program to load. After 5 minutes I realized that Gimp was like this by default and that really boiled my blood because I hate applications that run in mutliple windows. Programs should be simple and only run in one window to make life easier for noobs like us. Nevertheless, I found the solution to making Gimp run in one window on Ubuntu.

Instructions

Open Terminal in Ubuntu
Copy and paste this code: sudo apt-get install xnest metacity gimp
Test it in order to make sure that you have installed the package successfully by copying and pasting this code: Xnest :1 -ac -name GIMP -geometry 1024x690 & metacity --display :1 & gimp --display :1
And your done

That wasn't too hard, was it?

How to reset a linksys router

Resetting a linksys router is very easy. All you need is a pen and some time.

Instructions

Turn on the linksys router
Get a Pen or a Pencil
At the back of the router, there should be a hole and a label called Reset
Using the pen, press the button in the hole and hold it for 30 seconds
Wait for the WLAN and Internet light to turn on
Your Done

This is useful because sometimes someone could access your router if you haven't setup your wireless security settings. By default, the linksys routers wireless option is enabled and the security is disabled. The person could change your pass if you haven't changed it yet. The default pass is admin and the username is admin.

Click Start
Click Run
Type in Msconfig and click ok
Click the Services Tab and check 'Hide All Microsoft Services'
Uncheck anything that isn't important there (Don't uncheck your anti-virus!)
Click the Startup Tab
Uncheck anything that isn't needed
Click OK
Done
