Does Caffeine and Paracetamol taken together can malign our health?
hmmm... it's a good time to take some research as I have tried the combination of caffeine and paracetamol are very effective in treating pain (headaches or body pains) but there is a real big "BUT" the combination of two chemical can cause liver damage (T_T) here are my research:

Reaching for the paracetamol alongside your morning coffee may be bad for your health, researchers say.

A study indicated that a combination of large quantities of the pain-killer and caffeine appeared to increase the risk of liver damage. Scientists found that caffeine tripled the amount of a toxic by-product created when paracetamol was broken down.

My favourite client who has given me Ecommerce website tasks has left me and I have new client these days that is giving me Visual C# tasks, everything is new to me mind bugling and confusing cause the code are totally different from PHP, CSS, XHTML etc...

To add up, I have been having severe headache for the past weeks ever since my close Auntie Caring has died July 31, 2009...

And I think from the my title "Submit to God" is what I only need.
This was our Sunday's topic Bible Study and fellowship.

Submit to the rulers and masters, submit to the authority, I wanted to give up on my recent client now I don't want to submit to what he wants me to do as everything are confusing to me, still God speak to me.

Ephesians 5:21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Submit and respect one another for Lord sake. As long as the commands are to do what is right, you have to do it and respect the authority.

Proverbs 24:21 Fear the LORD and the king, my son,
and do not join with the rebellious,

For the Lord sake, even if the authority are not Christians, it was God's will they were in that position.

Romans 13 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. 4 For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. Not to mock the authority even if we have the freedom of democracy we are to respect the authority.

Barn buddy cheat in facebook

Barn buddy is an application in facebook that uses real time flash interactions - all about having a barn/farm, where you can plant vegetables and fruits to earn coins - in return the coins can let you buy fertilizers and seeds to plant again. And you can give harvest (or) help your friends by giving them fruits or removing weeds and bugs at their own barn -

Good side of the game objective? helping your friends as I mentioned above - to earn you additional coins and experience for level up.

But, the bad side of barn buddy is that you can also steal from your friends' barn and earn the coins by selling the stolen fruits and vegetables.

On the other hand, I was surprise that when I first started in barn buddy via invitation, my first harvest? almost all has been stolen, I think around more or less than 10 pieces left for me to harvest. And yes at first I thought of "this is just a game"

but on the other side of me is telling "it has a negative influence" but I was just confuse by the fact it is ONLY A GAME.

Now, since my first harvest was few, I stop planting and left the game.

Then after a day, I received notices from facebook that some of my foreigner friends -gave me some fruits! Actually most of them are the ones who stole my crops. Still I didn't mind. . .

But the influence is that almost all of my friends are playing barn buddy and they explained that the most nicest part of the game are "the stealing and earning more coins".

And told me a technique where you can harvest by using fertilizer that cost 50coins each (this advances 1 hour of growth in the plant). If your plants are less than a hour for harvest, put some fertilizer and tadah! You can instantly harvest.

And so, this inspire me to continue the game barn buddy.

Even though I knew the technique I can't accommodate it most of the times as I have mind (bugging) tasks, even if I use my cell phone reminder, I wouldn't notice it - as I'm concentrated on my tasks and when I do - I'll be totally away from the office noise or person beside me, I will see nothing except the computer monitor.

Now, whenever some of my friends steal from me they chat me via YM after they have stolen, I don't mind the fact they stole from me cause when I have the time, I stole from them too and I'm thankful they reminded me to harvest (they understand I'm busy with my tasks) and at least ONLY my friends have stolen and not foreigners whom I don't know.

And so there I continue to go with the flow. . . I earned more than 60k coins by stealing!

Still my conscience is telling me about "what was written in the Ten Commandments?" and how the Devil will corrupt our way of thinking - little by little in any ways like what you called a "game" that has a negative influence.

Think of it very carefully - As your friends stole from your barn (less harvest less earnings) and you need to steal too in order to gain coins (earnings that was stolen) to buy seeds and land for expansion of your own barn.

And believe me, you have more earnings from stealing - than from harvesting (that was left to) your own barn, well if you leave your barn without checking you have zero as in NOTHING left to harvest.

In my opinion - barn buddy is NOT good because everybody can steal your harvest to zero.

Okay, there's an option to earn a dog (have 10 friends referrals) to guard your barn. Hmmm. . . sound a very good idea, right?

But No!

I can't make it to 10 since most of the employees I know in our office are already playing barn buddy ahead of me. Geeesh!

They have the dog and are already leveled up.

Hmmm, I analyse the game interaction (flash) there is a bigger chance for cheat (again Bad influence) "Stealing".

I even demonstrate to my seatmate this game can cause lag. why?

Try and How to steal to a barn buddy with a dog - two players MUST access on that same barn and try to steal in the same spot real time, the Internet will slow down, or there will be a slight pause and one of you can steal the other one will be bitten, then repeat again and again so both of you have the harvest (from stealing geeesh!)

What about the Dog? NO EFFECT!

See what's the point?

I do not see any good out of the stupid game called barn buddy.

Here we are in our Eversun Software Philippines Corporation General Assembly with the owner Danny Sullivan (^_^) ...
I notice that most of the agents are excited to see him because its their first time and he has the handsome face, humble and kind just like my current client at the moment W.Williams. (^_^)

Anyway I was happy to see Danny Sullivan again we had pictures together with some of the day shifts agents.

By the way, I asked a question about us web developers,

"if ever there will be another exams for salary increase, I hope we'll be given some insights or pointers at least to study, so to be prepared and have a chance to pass because on the last examimation for web developers nobody passed".

Danny Sullivan said

"yeah I think we can have a refreshers' course during Saturday..."

and I agree with that.
Oh I wish this will push through cod hopefully with God's help we will all finally pass.

Today I crank jokes on my team mate at Iloilo, he was a little bit irritated and said "Happy April Fools day Jed!"

Then afterwards I joke around with my other teammate here in our office (^_^) she really believed me and I also told her likewise (^_^)

I was asked where did April fools day began?

hmmm I got curious and researched on the Internet and here are the information Google gave me from WikiPedia...

The origin of April Fools' Day is obscure. One likely theory is that the modern holiday was first celebrated soon after the adoption of the Gregorian Calendar; the term referred to someone still adhering to the Julian Calendar which it replaced.[2] In many pre-Christian cultures May Day (May 1) was celebrated as the first day of summer, and signalled the start of the spring planting season. An April Fool was someone who did this prematurely. Another origin is that April 1 was counted the first day of the year in France. Eden Nature Park Remembrance

Eden Nature Park remembrance I will never forget.
Eden Nature Park can be dangerous if you're not watching your every steps. When we were touring the 60-hectares and was at Tinubuan falls [@ picture...]

After taking this picture I slipped (Y_Y)

I wasn't aware that we shouldn't be stopping there but the shuttle did stop and we took some pictures, when I step near the falls the ground was fine and not slippery but when I was going on side and step my crutches near the statue I slipped right away in an instant I hit my chin on the ground. And realize it was full of algae and soft soil. The tourist guide never gave us any warning like "this is not a stop point because the ground here's very slippery" all I heard was "hurry up, take pictures".

Tourist guide should know better of the entire Eden Nature Park since that's there main job on the first place.

To top it all NO FIRST AID was at hand with the tourist guide nor in their shuttle to think Eden Nature Park can be dangerous in when your in the tour (middle of the forest like park!).

It's my first time there so I really had no idea. From what I saw in the net the place was safe but I heard that there were many accidents.

For those reading this I would advice that you carry your own first aid if ever you visit this nice dangerous place.

I'm really curious for this year proclaimed holidays specially the SPECIAL NONE WORKING holidays (^_^) do you want to know those holidays that the Malacañang has released?
all you have to do is read...

Proclamation No. 1669 signed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo last December 24 — could still be amended, meaning more "holiday economics" announcements from the administration.

Businessmen, many of whom were surprised when Mrs. Arroyo extended the recent holiday break by adding January 2, 2009 at the last minute, welcomed the list. They urged the government, however, to be more circumspect.

Based on the proclamation, the following are this year’s 2009 regular holidays:

* April 9 (Maundy Thursday);
* April 10 (Good Friday);
* April 6 (the Monday nearest to April 9 which is Araw ng Kagitingan or Day of Valor);
* May 1 (Labor Day);
* June 12 (Independence Day);
* August 31 (National Heroes Day);
* November 30 (Bonifacio Day);
* December 25 (Christmas Day); and
* December 30 (Rizal Day).

The following, meanwhile, are special 2009 non-working days:

* August 21 (Ninoy Aquino Day);
* November 1 (All Saints Day);
* November 2 (additional special non-working day);
* December 24 (additional special non-working day); and December 31.

Mrs. Arroyo, who has justified moving holidays as providing an economic stimulus, said declaring December 24 and November 2 as holidays would strengthen Filipino families and boost domestic tourism.

To Forgive is To Forget and Be Healed From Pain

What if I came across to my greatest enemy in college days, Will she still be still arrogant or (soplada)? Will she even look in my face to reply when I smile to say "hello"?

Tuesday January 6, 2009 was one of the most surprising days in our life -Joy and me.
We went to Gaisano Mall as planned days before, when we were about to enter the grocery I saw our classmate Maria Fe she is one of our group friends in college. We talk and stayed since both of us me and Joy was not in a hurry, we decided to stay with her while waiting for her Kuya Dik. Maria Fe is pregnant and due to give birth on the 4th week of this month.

While we were talking, Joy saw Madel... ok a short recap about Madel, we were good friends until when she always emphasize (chismis) the little mistakes I do, and she's soplada and maldita, we can't get along very well and so I marked her as the only 1 greatest enemy in our school. I even thought of her as she doesn't exist in my sight so to never mind her or even look at her face, because I despise her bad character/attitude since 1st yr. till 3rd yr. we didn't talk. On few months before our graduation she talked to me privately asked for forgiveness but since "the mark" I have given to her in my mind/heart was really harden, I told her, I may say "I have forgiven you" but I really can't forget specially the hurt I even explain "I treated you and even count you as my true friend para kasi yung treatment mo sakin ay yung pako sa kahoy Madel, kapag tinusok mo sa kahoy hindi na maalis or heal ang butas kahit inalis mo na ang pako" we both cried in our heart to heart talk. Then we parted ways after our graduation, we never saw each other again.
I learned for the past months from my true Christian friends that when you forgive you must also forget and let Lord God heal the hurt so to let go the pain of the past. . .Yes it is hard to forget but with the help of Lord God we can endure.

I must admit it does not take overnight to be healed from past pain. But if we let the Holy Spirit to heal us through our prayers it is a process of healing.
My Christian friends told me when I'm healed, I will be tested so be prepared. They are right. I was tested. . .

When I saw Madel, I didn't remember a single negative vibes in my heart/mind, all I wanted to do is to know "How's her life" we were like "good old friends who met accidentally" (surprising noh!) Joy was happy to witness us truly reconcile and she said when Madel and I hug each other "erase na ang past, new life for both of us gyud nakita niya" .
At the back of my mind I was thinking "sayang pala talaga, sana ako naging ninang ng anak niya".

For all the hurt I have encountered with friendship it was Madel who gave me so much pain the rest didn't come close.

I still have two persons both of them used to be an office mates also close and ended up not well, they have resign, I wanted to talk to them and ask for forgiveness of my actions that made them acted the way they do, hopefully they have also forgotten and has been healed from the pain I caused.

Oh I just realize both of them also started with letter “M” as in Madel! Waa what a coincidence!

Weeeiii! at last, after visiting the Peoples Park I saw my ex-officemate Jayson Albano performing live at Taboan in MTS, for so long time I wanted to see him live but as usual its either I forgot or we have work on the next day which I can't stay long night jamming outside... Anyway December 29, 2008 since it was the last work in the said year I didn't forget to drop by at MTS with Elvie...

I was so surprise to see the band playing, there were 10 members!!! when I thought it was only 5... oh wow! totally complete with all the instrument you can ever imagine in a band playing here are the pictures:

Vacation Leave at Blue Jaz Samal Island

Don’t Drift Away

There are so many reasons to drift away from worshiping God, from going to church and reading the Bible.

For the past days I have been so tired of doing the same things all over everyday, my vacation leave can help me “miss” what I used to do… or it will not?

I need to think very well during my vacation leave at the moment, be isolated for awhile to let me know if I still wanted to work on the same company or find another company that pays well enough.

Anyway our topic for the Sunday service was “Don’t drift away”.
Pastor Ken told us the story about riding a boat or ferry, what we should always have are:

A life jacket – incase of emergency we can stay float till the rescue comes

Anchor on the Boat or Ferry – if ever the engines get damage at lease it can not drift away with an anchor.

To bare this in mind we should not neglect our relationship with God and live a righteous life, just like the boat Jesus is our anchor.

Just today around 11:00am in our office... my cellphone rang and it was from Nokia Philippines but its number was a Globe sim...
I was hesitant when a lady (named Anne) told me "congratulations you have won the Nokia 2680 slide!"

I said "ahihihi are you sure?" and she asked me details like "complete name and address?"
wahahah!
syempre hindi ko binigay! I replied "if you have the details of my registration how come you are asking me these information?"
...

She said "you still didn't believe me that you have won Ms. Lahora"
I explained why should I when a stranger just ring my phone and asked me personal details and telling me I won why should I believe? of course not!

(wahahaha! nanalo nga ako?!)

and She said all the details from her computer (on my registration) she also explained that she is just verifying if I'm really the person she wanted to talk to...(^_^)

as confirmed she said a registered mail will arrive in the address I specified and then I will claim the Nokia 2680 here in Davao City (^_^)

Sige will be updating one of my blogs as soon as I will get that Nokia 2680!

Eversun Software in Bernardo Building New Office

It has been exactly four days now, since we have transfered. Everything is new, the way I will ride the jeeps and atmosphere... I felt like in our place now in Bonifacio St., its like we are really in the CITY!!! cost of living are high not like in Matina where we can spend 40pesos with a very good meal...
I'm not complaining, may be its part of adjustment period... but I want to write here all the comparison in our old and new office.

Tanglish na ulit (^_^)

Transportation... kahit malayo ang Matina believe me I was never late, dito sa new office I was almost late on my first day and today 8:01 ako log in!
pero noon sa Matina pa kami average time are around 7:30 to 7:45 (login) ngayon bakit? anong nangyari! why? because its only Ulas jeep that goes to Bonifacio St. and nothing more...
so if I can't find Ulas jeep? lakad blues ever... naglagay na nga ako ng ankle support kasi as I expected mas madaming lakaran... noon I only walk from our house to sakayan ng Obrero Jeep (medyo malayo din yun) pero after that Obrero jeep pag-baba ko madaming Matina, Bangkal, etc... so madaming Jeeps dumadaan going to Matina... and they will exactly drop you infront of our old office building no more lakaran ever! akyat nalang ng isang stairs dyan na... two jeeps lang ayos na... dito not only do I have to walk from our house to sakayan ng Obrero jeep but also... waaa! yun na!

Lunch time... waaa! ang mahal ng rice dito sa downtown ha (8pesos) ok lang man sana kung mahal basta malaki eh ang liit! mas maliit pa sa rice doon sa Matina kinakainan namin which is only 6 or 7 pesos... I really felt we are in the CITY na... imagine magpila ka pili ng food then pila na fud when you pay sa food hayzzz daming kumakain eh (Y_Y)

My work station
bbbrrr! sa old office I was only avoiding one AirCon here in our new office its four as in apat siya na aircon nakatapat sa akin! bbbrrr! because my work station was situated in the middle of the entire floor so all the airCons surrounded bagsak sa akin! imagine mo nalang bbbrrr!
its so cold that I can't even think what I'm going to do for the day... all I can think about is finding a place where I can exhaust the chills in my body... in short... lakad ako dito ... walk going to the pantry... walk going to the rest room ... walk walk walk... when I got to my work station? FaceBook and blogging nalang, I really can't think of things to do bbbrrr...

I already requested for transfer of my work station... hopefully it will be granted.

Well let see the positive naman baka maya you will think I only see the negative eh...
for the positive...

hmmm... since we are all situated in one floor (not like before in our old office 1st and 3rd floor) I'm getting to familiarize all our fellow officemates...

and the new office is absolutely BIG and HUGE... so during meeting time madaming place where we can talk privately example if an admin wants to talk with us agents... at meron narin Training Room (oh diba bonga! kung baga meron nang nursery station sa mga new agents bago isasabak sa mga nakakalitong clients!(^_^)

not like before kami mga pioneering employees wahahaha!
anong training? that was only "a status" but there was really NO training sabak kagad sa client, without any knowledge "what you are going to do" basta yun na yun... matira matibay kung hindi mo alam how to handle a client and find ways how to do your tasks... patay end of contract! means resign.

in our new office compare sa old office? in my own opinion, I still like our old office even if its very far from our house... I can manage and organize my time very well pero sa walking chuvaness waaa!

sige lang... like I said "I'm still adjusting" my body will compensate all these walking distance and I will develop more stamina and strength to overcome all these physical pressures "I'm perspiring from walking and when you arrive at the office my work station is surrounded by four AirCons waaa!". sana ma transfer na ako ASAP!

But still I missed our meals in Matina! (Y_Y) may mga videos nga kami when we eat our lunch, someone requested never to publish it kaya I can't post nor upload it on any of my blogs I will keep my promise... pinakita ko sa kanila ulit... natawa sila... maka-miss... all the affordable and delicious food... huhuhu!

Eversun Agents Last Lunch in MacArthur Highway Matina Davao

I can remember on my first "day shift" work it was December 17, 2007...
the first "karinderia" kinainan namin was the one who gave the despedida eat all you can ... (I was with Roy Basiera, Admiral and John) ang bait talaga ng may-ari noh?

Now, today the last karinderia "Lunch" that I have ate with our fellow office mates was the same "karinderia" too (^_^) maka miss naman oi! kaya I have taken this opportunity to have a video along with my fellow officemates whom I'm with having our last lunch in MacArthur Highway, Matina.

The only thing that I don't like in our new building is that "nasa 3rd floor na siya" but the location Bonifacio St., is fine with me.
