Ubisoft announced that the game will be available on June 21st in the United States, on June 23rd in the continental Europe and on June 24th in the United Kingdom.

Stronghold was not predicted by many (I think only the dwarves were less likely in the community opinion).

Now, I see that Amazon UK already offers a 60% discount for the DS version. For me, this looks like the end of life for this game.

Therefore, I doubt I will ever play it Too bad… I wanted to follow the story (even if it is as poor as the one in Heroes V).

• the temptress has become a lilim (a name I did not like was replaced by a name I do not like either);
• the excruciator has become a lacerator (a name I hated was replaced by a name I do not like);
• the juggernaut ravager has become a ravager (a name I did not like was replaced by a name I like);
• the bone guard has become a skeletal spearman (a name I did not like was replaced by a name I hate);
• the grave ghoul has become a ravenous ghoul (a name I did not like was replaced by a name I do not like either);
• the putrid lamasu has become a lamasu (a name I hated was replaced by a name I do not like);
• the festering lamasu has become a putrid lamasu (a name I hated was replaced by a name I hate too).

Therefore, this batch of name changes was a disappointment for me. I hope for better name changes in the future (if there will be any).

Therefore, I would first get rid of the vestal and the seraph.

Therefore, I would first get rid of the excruciator and the demented.

We know there are three tyres (currently called core, elite and champion). The first two tyres have three creatures; the last one only has one.

In conclusion, I think some of the names should be changed. The lamasu should be the first to go… By the way, isn’t lamassu the correct spelling?

Every time I see one of those mail, my hopes go up and I am disappointed a few seconds later when I realize I cannot actually play. This has become frustrating.

How hard can it be to send those e-mails only to people in countries where the game was actually launched? I checked my Ubisoft profile; the correct country is in there…
