What an ancient story. Nobody these days would use Word-Perfect. Anyways, it's a good story. Seriously he shouldn't have been fired.

Story from the Word Perfect Help line which was transcribed from a recording monitoring the customer care department. Needless to
say, the Help Desk employee was fired; however, he is currently suing the Word Perfect Organization for "Termination without Cause." This is the actual
dialogue of a former Word Perfect Customer Support employee (now I know why they record these conversations) starts here:

Employee--"Rich Hall, Computer Assistance; may I help you?"
Customer--"Yes, well, I'm having trouble with Word Perfect."
Employee--"What sort of trouble?"
Customer--"Well, I was just typing along, and all of a sudden, the words went away."
Employee--"Went away?"
Customer--"They disappeared."
Employee--"Hmmm So what does your screen look like now?"
Customer-- "Nothing."
Employee-- "Nothing?"
Customer--"It's a blank; it won't accept anything when I type."

Employee--"When you were behind the monitor, did you notice that there were two cables plugged into the back of it, not just one?"

Employee--"Well, there are. I need you to look back there again and find the other cable."
Customer--"Okay, here it is."
Employee--"Follow it for me, and tell me if it's plugged securely into the back of your computer."
Customer--"I can't reach."
Employee--"Uh huh. Well, can you see if it is?"
Customer--"No."
Employee--"Even if you maybe put your knee on something and lean way over?"
Customer--"Oh, it's not because I don't have the right angle, it's because it's dark."

Customer--"Yes - t he office light is off, and the only light I have is coming in from the window."

The Trainer's Special Horse

A champion jockey is about to enter an important race on a new horse. The horse's trainer meets him before the race and says, "All you have to remember with this horse is that every time you approach a jump, you have to shout, 'ALLLLEEE OOOP!' really loudly in the horse's ear. Providing you do that, you'll be fine."

The jockey thinks the trainer is mad but promises to shout the command. The race begins and they approach the first hurdle. The jockey ignores the trainer's ridiculous advice and the horse crashes straight through the center of the jump.

They carry on and approach the second hurdle. The jockey, somewhat embarrassed, whispers 'Aleeee ooop' in the horse's ear. The same thing happens--the horse crashes straight through the center of the jump.

At the third hurdle, the jockey thinks, "It's no good, I'll have to do it," and yells, "ALLLEEE OOOP!" really loudly. Sure enough, the horse sails over the jump with no problems. This continues for the rest of the race, but due to the earlier problems the horse only finishes third.

The trainer is fuming and asks the jockey what went wrong. The jockey replies,"Nothing is wrong with me--it's this bloody horse. What is he--deaf or something?"

The trainer replies, "Deaf?? DEAF?? He's not deaf--he's BLIND!"

Last month, National University of Lesotho, South Africa scientists released the results of a recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer. Men
should take a concerned look at their beer consumption.
The theory is that beer contains female hormones (hops contain phytoestrogens) and that by drinking enough beer, men turn into women.

To test the theory, 100 men drank 8 pints of beer each within a 1 hour period. It was then observed that 100% of the test

A game of chess

I beat a deaf guy at Chess yesterday. I'm so proud of meself. Here's the reason why I think it is a thing to be proud of. Chess is a game about concentration ain'it? Chess is one game where normal guys like me play with a handicap when matched up against a deaf opponent.

When you are deaf, you won't have stupid distractions like

The TV.
Stupid dogs tearing up your flip-flops because you left them out?
Cars on the road
Birds outside.
The wind.
The rain.
Sounds of people in the kitchen.
Sounds of people in the shower.
Sounds of people in the loo.
Mobile Phones.
People talking to you.
People wanting to talk to you on the phone.
The sound of your opponent breathing.

See? I had to cope with all that in one game while the deaf guy gets perfect silence. How fair is that?? But its ok I only dropped one game out of 5 and that was because I was distracted with lunch. I'm the greatest! Go Me!

I apologise if my words offend any hearing challenged people.
I am not prejudiced against any handicapped people and I don't think myself superior.
It is just hard to be politically correct and write in short sentences.

Anyone notice that google regional page like google.com.fj now reflect the changes to the logo? I mean the sketches of the google logo that change with the important days/events.

I really hated the fact that the regional pages didn't show the logo like the main google page. I had to keep using http://www.google.com/ncr to go to the real google page.

Now I don't have to. Yippie!

Is this a recent change? I can't tell for sure? Anyone else out there noticed this?

First of all, let me say, I like this gal. She is cute and her actings are adorable.
But ... hehe this is where the gossip comes in. Well, I heard she got mustash. I didn't say that. :D
I think it's in one of the VCD with Examplez group. May be bad makeup that time but we did see some kind of mustach on her face. LOL
So Zatlite doesnt like her no more after that. hahahhaha.
