If you’re looking for luxurious hotel for your stay in Antalya in Turkey, your quest is over. Built in 2003 after the Titanic, the Titanic DeLuxe Beach & Resort Hotel is an activity and an experience in and of its own. The breath taking exterior and interior design are only part of the experience. The hotel to begin with has its own private beach, and with that, comes load of extra bonuses. In your stay at the Titanic, you can almost be certain you can practice your favorite sport. There are tennis courts, football fields, windsurfing, squash courts, billiards, dart board, Bowling Alley, volleyball, outdoor swimming pool, water slides, beach football and volleyball, gym. And for the little ones, there is a kids playing area, as well as a combination of water activities to enjoy. But saying it doesn’t do its justice. So just watch the short video below.

Morocco is unlike any other country you’ll ever get to visit. This destination of mystery, culture and enchantment transports everyone that visits it to another world that is awash with the sights, smells and sounds of a place that has been a top destination for Hollywood celebrities, top world leaders and fashionistas alike. In this review, we’ll take a look at what the country has to offer, while exploring some of the things one can do on holiday, and sampling different facets of the culture of one of the most beautiful countries in North-West Africa.

Morocco can trace its history from 1000B.C when a people called the Phoenicians passed through a multifaceted land that contained desert, snow-capped mountains and stunning beaches. They decided to use this location as a trading post, utilizing it for trade between Carthage (modern-day Tunisia) and Mauritania. The Berbers, who were the original inhabitants, had to submit to many <ins>different </ins><ins>rulers </ins>brought about by wars that involved the Romans, Byzantines, Carthaginians and Vandals. In the 1800′s Morocco saw itself in the midst of heavy influence from Europe, which can be seen up to today in its architecture and inclusion of some aspects of European culture in its own culture. Morocco was colonized by both the Spanish and the French, and it finally gained independence in April 1956. Today, Morocco <ins>is </ins>famed for its rich and varied culture and open-mindedness when it comes to tourists that decide to spend their holidays there.

Atlas Mountains, Morocco (via ruthhallam)

Morocco’s capital Marrakech is located within close proximity of the Atlas Mountains, and is famed for its expansive spice and souk markets, where one can buy everything from exotic and rare spices such as saffron to the latest in electronics and ethnic clothing and footwear. A market that is not to be missed while in Marrakech is the Jemaa el-Fna. During the day, this market is filled with merchants selling their wares, and at night it comes alive with numerous storytellers, snake charmers, healers, musicians and an incredible array of food stalls.

If you venture into the ole Medina quarter of Marrakech, you could catch a glimpse of the souks, which are in essence covered market stalls. This is a great place to find gorgeous silks, souvenirs and house utensils that you can take back home with you. If you’re good at haggling, this is the best place to snag a bargain and buy a piece of Morocco that you can take back home to remember the place by.

If you are looking for something that’s out of the ordinary and away from the tourist <ins>traps, </ins>a city Like Fez might just be the perfect destination away from the beaten path. Known as Morocco’s oldest imperial city, Fez has been designated as a UN World Heritage site, and features a charming old town section, more than 9000 narrow streets and a variety of Arabic and French-inspired architecture. The best time to visit Fez would be either September to November, or April to June. These are cooler months, and this will enable you to explore the city to your heart’s content.

Fes El-Bali (via Jerzystrzelecki)

The biggest attraction in this city has to be the Fes-el Bali, which is a medina that is teeming with souks and ancient buildings. The Merinid tombs are found north of the medina, and feature the remains of a palace and necropolis that dates back to the 16th century. The tombs offer a great view of the city below, and are surrounded by the old city walls that were built around the 12th century. The Bou Inania madersa is a 14th century college that was built for religious purposes. It has architectural features that include intricately-carved doors, Arabic calligraphy adorning the walls and a gorgeous minaret. The tanneries are also not to be missed, and are best visited in the morning. It’s customary for the guide to offer someone wishing to visit them a sprig of mint due to the fact that animal hides being tanned have a peculiar aroma that’s not for everyone.

Getting to Morocco is <ins>easy </ins><ins>via </ins>major airlines such as Emirates, EasyJet, British Airways and Swiss Airlines (see here for prices). The country has three international airports: Casablanca, Tangier and Agadir. It’s possible to fly direct from places such as Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and a host of other European cities. The Moroccan currency is the Dirham, which is divided into 100 centimes. ATM access is not a problem in this modern country, which has invested in a robust IT and banking infrastructure. If you are from the US, UK or Canada, you don’t need a visa to visit the country. For a comprehensive list of the countries that are covered by this no-visa rule, please contact your embassy. Morocco is considered a Malaria-free zone, and doesn’t require individuals to take any vaccinations. However, it’s a good idea to be up to speed on your <ins>Tetanus </ins>and Polio vaccines.

Morocco is a very safe country that experiences some of the lowest homicide rates in the world. Common sense should be followed if <ins>you </ins><ins>are </ins><ins>traveling </ins>alone. Driving under the influence is illegal and women are advised to be <ins>in </ins><ins>the </ins>company of a <ins>trusted </ins>guide if they need to travel to places in the country they have never <ins>been.</ins>

At the end of the day, traveling to Morocco is an adventure like no other. If you’re looking for some rest and relaxation, the beach towns of Essaouira and Assilah are perfect for a tropical-inspired destination. If you are more into adventure, a trek to the Atlas Mountains will allow you to experience the country from a completely different perspective surrounded by wide, expansive space. Most Moroccans speak French, Arabic, Spanish and a bit of English, so it won’t be hard to communicate when needing a service or buying goods. The country has a well-developed infrastructure that allows you to move from one city to the next with minimum hassle. Morocco offers up an interesting Arabian-inspired adventure, set against a backdrop of heavenly views, sumptuous food and friendly people.

We all hate it but it happens. Flights get delayed, rescheduled, or worse canceled. And you don’t want to find out about that after you checkout from the hotel and reach the airport. In these days, having at least one flight tracker app in your smart phone I’d say is a must. Why wouldn’t you, if you already have the smart phone? Below are few FREE flight tracker apps you can use to keep updated on your flight status updates.

FlightView

Devices: iPhone & Android

iTunes Rating: 4.5/5

Google Play Rating: 4/5

This free app has paid versions, but the free version will give you the the upcoming and in-air flight information you need, as well as status alert push notifications. Buy the paid version if those ads at the bottom are too annoying for your taste. Reviews for this app seem to be on the positive side mostly.

FlightAware

Devices: iPhone & Android

iTunes Rating: 3/5

Google Play Rating: 3.5/5

Gain real time flight status updates, as well as map view of commercial airlines routes around the world. It also supports push notifications for flight status, which is pretty convenient. Some reviews however on both iPhone and Android do seem to share similar experience of incorrect data, so beware if you’re going to use it.

TripIt

Devices: iPhone

iTunes Rating: 4/5

Part of the amazing service from TripIt, which automates creation of your itinerary simply by forwarding your reservations to plans@tripit.com, it will allow you to quickly check the flight status. It is not clear however whether the free version of TripIt sends flight notifications, but if you’re on TripIt Pro plan, then you will get push notifications for flight info, alongside airfare savings you might be entitled to.

Serious about travel? Got 5 Bucks to Spare?

The $4.99 FlightTrack app for iPhone and Android comes loaded with features. The app covers real time status updates for gates, cancellations and delays in more than 16,000 airports worldwide, and 1,400 airlines. The app can sync with your calendar, help you find alternate flights, and even work in offline mode when inside the airplane. The sad news is, that $4.99 version still doesn’t include the push notification feature, which is more important than the bulk of added ones. For that, you will need the FlightTrack Pro $9.99 version.

So our suggestion is, stick with a free app if you’re a light traveler. Check your flight status once or twice on day and day before of your flight, until you’re sure notifications are serving you like they should.

With titles like “Pearl of the Orient Seas”, boasting long white-sand beaches and a rich cultural resemblance of Spain and Latin America, Philippines is made to be a great tourist destination. Now is the time for Middle Eastern tourists to give the Philippines a second look and think on spending their most awaited vacation in this idyllic country.

Located in the heart of Southeast Asia with a tropical climate, the Philippines is post-card perfect. More than seven thousand islands to choose from with its major regions like Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao bearing their distinct characteristics. Colonized by different countries like Spain, United States and Japan gave its culture one of the most unique in the world. With majority of its citizens speaks fluent in English, this makes traveling in the Philippines easier and better than in other country.

Philippines and Muslim Tourists

Muslim visitors not just in the Middle East but throughout the world will find haven in this tropical destination. Come to the Philippines for leisure business or both. We all love the natural white-sand beaches that stretches to a few kilometers but Philippines is one place that will make any Muslim tourists truly feel at home. A big factor is the fact that 5% of its total population are Muslims and they are not just concentrated in the southern region of Mindanao but they live together with Christians is any part of the country.

As Muslims, there are some specific cultural requirements that you have to abide even when enjoying a holiday. One of these is food. Islam diet is not just omitting pork thus, it is enough to visit a vegetarian restaurant. Muslim tourists will be delighted that Philippines is promoting halal cuisine in its major establishments like hotels. There are many halal cafes and restaurants in the Philippines serving local Muslim residents and expats. Manila Hotel is one of the first hotel to have a halal-certified kitchen offering halal-buffet and halal-menu including room service.

Looking for a place of worship? There are many mosques in the capital city of Manila alone as there are many Muslim communities in this area. The biggest mosque can be found in Cotabato City, the Sultan Hajdi Hassanal Bolkiah Masjid or simply referred as “The Great Mosque”.

Activities

<img class="size-medium wp-image-1070" alt=" Mayon Volcano in Albay, Philippines.
Philippines offers a plethora of activities that can suit every single preferences and choices of its visitors. Love the outdoors? Trek all the way to the majestic crater of Mt. Pinatubo or take a motor bike and explore the surrounding views of Mt. Mayon, the famous volcano with the perfect cone. Love some extreme sports? Camarines Sur in southern Luzon is the “Extreme Sports Capital of the Philippines” with wake-boarding and its famous Survivor-series favorite, Caramoan Islands. Surf in northern Luzon or to well-acclaimed Siargao Island in Surigao del Sur.

Phuka Beach. Via Johnycanal

For some heritage trails, visit the Vigan with its well preserved Spanish cobble-stoned streets and old houses. Sun worshippers will find it hard to pick where to go. Why not start with the international proclaimed Best Island in the World by Travel + Leisure Magazine? Boracay Island with its 4 kilometer-white sand a wide array of establishments from hotels to restaurants is a modern-day global island. Do not be intimidated with its reputation as a party beach, Boracay is actually a family-friendly island. But if you want to seclude yourself and commune with nature, Palawan never fails to impress.

Most of all, traveling to the Philippines is like coming home to a long lost family. Where every guest and visitors are treated with the warmest hospitality that only Filipinos can give.

Munich is the ideal holiday destination for anyone wanting a mix of culture, shopping and natural escapes whilst on vacation. The wonderfully green city, sitting snugly on the feet of the Alps and traversed by the picturesque River Isar, is fast becoming one of the most visited in Europe. Its prosperity shines on every corner; perfectly restored architectural gems, immaculate gardens and stunning boutiques are attracting crowds like never before. Book your hotel in Munich’s city centre and have all the city’s best attractions right at your doorstep. Shop till you drop in the luxurious city centre, get more than just a glimpse of polar bears at the city’s impressive zoo and lose yourself in the most extraordinary Royal gardens in the country.

Shop your heart out

Marienplatz (courtesy of Robert Theml)

When it comes to superlative European shopping destinations, many people tend to think of Paris, Milan or Rome as the only options to be had. How wrong they are! Spend but just a few hours in Munich’s city centre and you’ll soon discover that the German capital is saturated with splendid boutiques, unique markets and offers the visitor an exceptional shopping experience. For unique souvenirs, head to the stores around Marienplatz (Munich’s central square) where you can buy a hand-made grandfather clock, ceramic dolls dressed in the local lederhosenor bring home a whole collection of gorgeous Bavarian crystal glasses. For more upmarket retail therapy, head down Maximilianstrasse and shop your heart out at the luxurious stores of the most recognizable haute-couture brands in the world. If it’s Prada, Gucci and Vuitton you’re after, this is the address for you.

While visiting Munich, don’t miss seeing the Bavarian equivalent of a souk! Viktualienmarkt is where all the city’s fresh produce is born, and is within walking distance of the city centre.

Growl at a polar bear

Flanked on one side by the River Isar, and sprawling over an estate of 89 acres, Munich’s Tiergarten Hellabrunn is one of the most famous zoos in the world and considered by far to be the best in Europe. Home to over 17,000 species, the Munich Zoo is an incredible maze of magnificent gardens and world-class animal enclosures and is guaranteed to enthrall visitors of all ages. An absolute must-see, especially if travelling with children, the Tiergarden is home to polar bears, sloths, orangutans, tigers, pumas and much more. The zoo is just on the outskirts of town and easy to reach by bus. Look out for bus # 52 from Marienplatz, get off at Thalkirchen and follow the signs…or the crowds!

Live like a King

Park Nymphenburg (courtesy of Florian Adler)

For a chance to live like king for a day, or at the very least see how the Bavarian kings used to live, head to Schloss Nymphenburg in the heart of Munich. This most magnificent palace was the summer residence of King Ludwig II and is the largest Baroque castle in Germany. Take a guided tour through the palace’s interior halls but make sure you have a few hours up your sleeve to explore the glorious gardens at length. The property stretches for more than 490 acres and boasts two lakes, five splendid garden pavilions and several bathing houses, all dating back to the 18th century.

To reach Schloss Nymphenburg, head to Hauptbahnoff (central train station) from the city centre and take tram number 16 or 17. The entry ticket will also gain you access to the brilliant porcelain factory within the castle grounds.

Ever since we launched 7ojozat 5 years ago, it has always been our primary service to compare hotel prices for travelers. Throughout the years however, we have noticed areas that needed improvements to make it easier for the traveler.

Better English/Arabic Search

Search hotels directly rather than search for city then hotel
