      <title>七种武器之供给需求</title>

      <p>影响价格的最根本因素是什么？</p>  <p>影响价格的最直接因素是什么？</p>  <p>答案很简单。</p>  <p>都是供给和需求。</p>  <p>&#160;</p>  <p>关于能源和金属的价格和供需情况，很多人都已经很熟悉了。今天以钾肥为例。</p>  <h2>一、供给高度垄断</h2>  <p>世界钾盐资源的分布极不平衡，加拿大钾盐储量占世界总量的53%，而我国目前发现总储量仅仅为10亿吨。不到世界总储量的1%。</p>  <p>世界钾肥市场是一个高度垄断的市场。1986年，北美三大钾肥公司组建了卡特尔集团Canpotex，由Canpotex公司统一对外进行价格谈判和签订出口合同。 2005年，白俄钾肥BPC公司开始独家经营该国的钾肥。很快，前苏联地区这几家钾肥公司组建BPC联盟，统一销售。这两大联盟分别占世界钾肥产量的42%和33%。它们之间又进一步联手加强对国际钾肥市场的垄断。与此相对比，欧佩克12个成员国仅控制了全球原油市场的37%。</p>  <p>而全球钾肥的剩余产能更加集中。加拿大Potash公司控制了全球钾肥剩余产能的75%。</p>  <h2>二、刚性需求</h2>  <p>钾肥是农业不可缺少的三大肥料之一。而且必须来源于钾盐矿，不能人工合成。长期不施钾肥，田地就会减产。</p>  <p>但如果一年不施钾肥，土地减产有限。这个特性可能会增加钾肥的库存效应。在价格过高或者价格预期下跌的时候，各方面库存下降，农民施加钾肥的积极性也下降。比如2008年和2009年。但如果连续几年钾肥施加过少，减产的影响就会不断变大。最后，一旦钾肥价格形成向上预期，各方面库存上升，农民可能也被迫补施钾肥。钾肥需求强烈释放，从而造成钾肥价格的变动可能会比一般商品更加剧烈。</p>  <h2>三、定量数据</h2>  <p>1、2008年危机以来，所有金属、能源、农产品价格都已经上升，除了钾肥。</p>  <p><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="Spot US potash prices have drifted down" border="0" alt="Spot US potash prices have drifted down" src="/media/agczMnhpYW5ncg0LEgVNZWRpYRjVhgMM" width="627" height="484" /></p>  <p>2、2008年钾肥价格上升过快、过高，2009年钾肥价格一路下跌，导致这两年全球钾肥需求萎缩。这也许预示了2010年钾肥需求的大幅回升。</p>  <p><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="global potash demand" border="0" alt="global potash demand" src="/media/agczMnhpYW5ncg0LEgVNZWRpYRi8jgMM" width="565" height="484" /></p>  <p>3、2008/2009年，美国农民一样大幅减少了钾肥的施用。</p>  <p><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="US potash applications" border="0" alt="US potash applications" src="/media/agczMnhpYW5ncg0LEgVNZWRpYRjbhgMM" width="631" height="484" /></p>  <p>&#160;</p>  <p>&#160;</p>  <h2>结论是什么呢？</h2>  <p>1、经过连续一年多的下跌后，钾肥价格下跌空间有限；</p>  <p>2、钾肥相关的投资机会值得关注。</p>

      <title>受欢迎的垃圾邮件：来自李连杰壹基金</title>

      <p>今天收到的一封垃圾邮件居然来自<strong><a href="http://www.onefoundation.cn/html/90/category-catid-90.html" target="_blank">李连杰壹基金</a></strong>。当然，也可能很久以前在他们的网站注册过，只不过现在突然开始发送邮件而已。</p>
<p>李连杰壹基金给我的主要印象就是两个：</p>
<p>1、开国内慈善基金公开财务信息的先河；</p>
<p>2、始终搞不清楚李连杰本人向壹基金的捐赠有多少。</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>壹基金定期披露财务报告的举动，其实才是壹基金在国内的最大善举。</p>
<p>如果能够<a href="http://www.1cbn.com/s/n/000002/20090415/000000112444.shtml" target="_blank">引导国内的慈善基金全都接受第三方监督、公开详细的财务报告</a>，善莫大焉。</p>

<p>用一个计算器，简单学习了一下李连杰壹基金的最新财务报告。</p>

<p>3、2009年第二季度的其他收入=2007年4月19日至2009年6月30日的其他收入 。（画外音：那又怎么样呢？）</p>
<p>4、只有一个疑惑：这些成千上万的资金产生的财务收入（例如银行存款利息之类）在哪里？</p>

<li>从第3条我们可以知道，其他收入里面肯定不包含财务收入。</li>
<li>难道合并在货币捐赠收入里了？</li>
</ul>

<p>我相信李连杰的基金会是可以信赖的。但是，</p>

<li>也许壹基金下次披露财务信息时，可以更加详细一点。</li>
<li>也许壹基金可以将第三方审计人的信息直接在财务报告中明示出来；相信会计师事务所也有爱心，说不定免费帮助壹基金审计。</li>

<p>事实上，慈善基金财务公开透明的最大好处，就是所有人都可以发挥监督作用，把事情越做越好，信任越来越深。</p>

      <title>爱侃大山（Jaiku@GAE）: 类似twitter的微博客</title>

      <p>有科学家研究指出，较小的网络圈子，往往可以增强决策能力。太大范围的网络交友圈子反而降低决策的效率。</p>
<p>这种较小的网络圈子应该具备什么样的功能呢：</p>
<p>1、可以很方便地随手写几行，记录自己的随想、所得，方便日后回顾，也方便与朋友交流；</p>
<p>2、很方便对朋友的随想发表评论，产生交互；</p>
<p>3、一个人感兴趣的方面可能很广泛，需要能够对交流的话题进行分类；</p>
<p>4、一个人总有些随想愿意告诉全世界，也总有些随想只愿意与少数朋友共享，为此需要有适当的隐私设置。</p>
<p>好了。上面这些功能，被Google开源的Jaiku都具备了。</p>
<p>在<a href="../2009/02/22/free_blog_on_GAE.html" target="_blank">GAE</a>上架设了一个Jaiku应用，姑且叫作&ldquo;<a href="http://ikandashan.appspot.com" target="_blank">爱侃大山（iKanDaShan）</a>&rdquo;，希望朋友们喜欢。</p>

      <title>R与iRex DR1000S电子书阅读器</title>

      <p>R是一个开源的统计学软件，<a href="http://windspeedo.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!C6B2B06201713C87!325.entry" target="_blank">iRex DR1000S</a>是第一款10寸屏电子书阅读器（第二款是Amazon刚刚推出的Kindle DX）。它们之间会有什么联系呢？</p>
<p>当然，学习R的过程中，需要阅读很多pdf文件。在10寸屏上阅读这些A4尺寸的pdf文件，比在电脑上阅读或者在那些小尺寸的电子书阅读器上阅读，要轻松多了。但这显然不是今天的重点。</p>
<p>因为iRex DR1000S支持16G存储卡，所以，它的实际作用已经不仅仅是个电子书阅读器，而是电子图书馆。每次看到有用的资料，我都会随手把它保存到硬盘上，然后定期与iRex DR1000S的存储卡进行同步。短短几个月下来，我小小的电子图书馆已经有了好几千份资料、上百个分类目录。任何时候，如果想阅读某个专题方面的资料，进入相应的子目录即可。</p>
<p>但很多时候，关掉电脑，打开iRex DR1000S，只是想读一下最近新搜集到的文档。这就很困难。因为它们分布在上百个分类目录中。iRex DR1000S虽然建立在LINUX系统上，但目前为止，还是没有任何官方或者爱好者提供类似&ldquo;最新文档列表&rdquo;的功能。</p>
<p>好了。这时候，好学生、统计博士小R出场了。</p>
<p>花费十几分钟时间，写上几行R代码，解决问题。</p>
<p>只要运行这段R代码，就会将最新的100份文档的快捷方式放到一个专门的目录中。</p>

<p>这段代码的一个小缺憾是，通过R里的list.files函数或者

dir函数可以列出目录中的所有文件名，但是，不含有创建时间等任何文件信息。而file.info函数可以列出文件的创建时间等信息，但又必须提供完全的文件名给它。这样，通过file.info(dir(x))来获取目录下所有文件的名字及其创建时间，实际上对目录内容进行了两次搜索。效率有点偏低。也许还有效率高一点的函数是我所不知道的。</p>
