it’s been almost 2 years since we started writing the songs for crow’s funeral and months since we started the process in the studio, and we couldn’t be more happy with the results. there have been countless late (and sleepless) nights working towards this finished product, and here’s a preview of the work done.

open call to artists & photographers

my band mojave is having an open call to all artists and photographers to submit work inspired by the new album’s name “crow’s funeral”.

for our upcoming CD release party we’ve decided to have an open call for art and photography submissions. we want to display your artwork on the large screen behind the stage while we perform and then on a slideshow on our website. this is your chance to get your artistic and photography skills seen by the audience at the show and by visitors to our website.

canada’s potential coalition government

as much as i dislike the conservatives, stephen harper, and everyone he’s appointed – his party won the election. i didn’t vote for him, nor was i happy when he got in – but i knew he and his party got in fair and square, with more votes than any other party. you don’t like that fact, i hope you voted for one of the other parties, or you should shut up now, because you don’t have the right to complain.

it feels like if the liberals and NDP take over – they’re doing so against the wishes of country, who democratically elected the conservatives. if they had wanted to combine the left, they should have done so before the election and watched where the cards fell when the vote happened.

i don’t know why our parties bicker like little children in the playground, and all try to be the bully. the common ground they should all find is that they want canada to be better for it’s citizens and environment it has within it’s borders.
