School has started and we are back to the routine.

I am reading John Holt&#39;s &#39;Why Children Fail&#39; book and it is very interesting.

I am impressed with the way the emotional maturity is being portrayed in films of late. For instance in YJHD - Kalki&#39;s character is shown to have a soft corner for Aditya&#39;s and Aditya is shown to be completely oblivious to it. Imagine&amp;nbsp;a lazy Sunday afternoon - the body is tired after having cleaned some areas around the house. I had&amp;nbsp;been very busy&amp;nbsp;the past two weeks, A customer site training happened in Gurgaon. My first visit to Delhi/NCR area&amp;nbsp;(not counting airport transfers). Knew that I was going to be busy so did not make plans to meet anyone or go sightseeing. The items that I got from there - Paneer and Lettuce only because the grocery store was next to the hotel.

Typically we need to purchase a new pair of school shoes mid year as the girls tend to outgrow their shoes. Their school requires them to wear Reebok sports shoes in all black. Hyderabad Children&#39;s festival is on and as part of this they are staging three plays. The kids and I went to the first play Laal Pencil. This was the first play for the girls. For me it was after a long gap. 

The organizers had mentioned that there was a carnival at 5:30PM and the play was supposed to start at 6:30 PM. Given the logistics, we could make it there only by 6:30 PM. Got a chance to see English Vinglish over the weekend. The Telugu version was playing much closer to home than the Hindi one, so went ahead and watched it. Overall it is a very well made movie. Everybody acts well and the movie just flows through.
