There is a shocking news for Tamil Film Industry fans. There are rumors swirling around about the death of Tamil film actor and comedian Goundamani. He is not in a quite healthy condition and recently, was admitted in Apollo Hospital in Chennai for medical treatment after he felt pain in his chest. The news has not been confirmed by any spokesperson for actor nor has the hospital management released any statement regarding his death. Although, he is admitted in hospital and is currently in serious condition yet, he is alive. Earlier, someone had posted a line about his death on his Wikipedia page but soon the line was removed by the management as they had not any confirmation reports about that.

“Jaggubhai” was his latest movie, released on 29th January 2010.
The movie was written and directed by K.S. Ravikumar while main cast included Sarath Kumar and Shriya Saran. Renowned for his acts with Senthil, Goundamani born in Kannampalayam,a village in Coimbatore,Tamil Nadu, India. His strong Theatric background opened doors for him in Kollywood. His famous film projects include Ajith Kumar, Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Sathyaraj, Karthik, Rajinikanth, Arjun, Kamal Hassan, Vijay, Arjun, Parthiban and Jayaram. Moreover, he has been worked in more than 800 films but from the last couple of years, he was out of industry due to health issues.

The rumors say he died of a strong heart attack. Whether the news is true or not but it was very shocking news for all Kollywood celebrities who knew him very well. All the famous actors, directors and producers rushed towards Apollo hospital where he was shifted after feeling chest pain.
